GIRIBOY- Releases New Album and MV "Whyyoumad"

Rapper Giriboy's new music video is visually stunning, but the lyrics are all about the push and pull of any relationship between two people. The MV, with subtitles, dropped on YouTube on December 20, and it includes a super extra long title in Korean to go with the English "Whyyoumad."

A lot of people were first introduced to the Korean rapper on Show Me The Money 3, in 2014. Giriboy is now signed to Just Music (with rapper Swings). His new album "GRADUATION" is also now available on Korean online music streaming sites and iTunes. In the description on the 1theK upload, it says that this is his 4th regular album, and features a number of producers.

GRADUATION', includes the songs produced by outside producers rather than GIRIBOY himself like the previous album 'Coming Of Age Ceremony'. Particularly, a wide range of producers participated in producing this album, from Louie Lastic who produced Maroon5's 'Don't Wanna Know (Feat. Kendrick Lamar)' to GroovyRoom, Big Pie, WYBH's Fisherman and Cosmicboy, dnss, Lemac, Minit and Coa White.

Central Cee drops debut album "Can't Rush Greatness"

After a decade in the game, London rapper Central Cee has returned with his debut album "Can't Rush Greatness." His 17-track release hit streaming sites on January 24 with fast flowing lyrics of reflection, introspection and flexes. Features on the project include Young Miko, 21 Savage, Dave, Lil Durk and Lil Baby. The album follows the success of his mixtapes "Wild West" in 2021 and "23" in 2022. The 26-year-old UK Drill artist has been recording music since 2015.

BLNK drops A Funky Second Album - "FLAME" with a Visual for his Track "Love Is"

South Korean rapper BLNK has released his second album. The Legit Goons artist dropped his 13-track LP- "FLAME," on March 5th. The album features groovy, funky and jazzy beats under melodic vocals with references and vibes of old school hip-hop (reminiscent of OutKast at times). It gets an assist from established South Korean rappers - Nafla, Changmo, Chaboom, Nucksal, Yumdda, Simon Dominic and Paloalto. The release also includes a visual for the track "Love Is." Jay Park to embark on a "Serenades & Body Rolls" world tour

Seattle to Seoul artist Jay Park has announced plans to embark on a "Serenades & Body Rolls" world tour. The entertainer posted on social media that it will be his first tour in six years, kicking off the 10th anniversary of his hit hip-hop song "MOMMAE," featuring Ugly Duck. Park dropped "MOMMAE" with a freaky visual on May 22, 2015. In his post on February 21, 2025, officially announcing his tour, Park asked fans to leave a comment, if they want to see him perform in their city. First Tour in 6 YEARS!! Rapper/Singer pH-1, is sharing what not to do, if you know someone who's gotten famous. On May 31, the H1GHR MUSIC artist uploaded a demo song to SoundCloud called "Fell in Love." A sweet R&B track from South Korean singer Nason. The artist dropped his second official single titled "In Your Dreams," featuring Rheehab on December 1st, under Dynasty Muzik. Avatar Darko Officially Signs With H1GHR MUSIC

Seattle Rapper Avatar Darko, has officially signed with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted the official video on June 5th, to social media of Avatar signing the contract, and receiving his H1GHR MUSIC gold chain. The new signee is fresh off a U.S. tour with his H1GHR MUSIC labelmates (which wrapped on May 8th in Seattle). He also hit the stage with them back in March, for South by Southwest. Sexy and seductive-- the vibe from Lolo Zouaï's track "Moi," a song where she tells her lover in French and English, that she's leaving him. The track, with an intoxicating finale, is off Zouaï's April debut album, "High Highs to Low Lows." The French-Algerian American singer/songwriter told PAPER magazine that she wrote the song after a stay and a relationship with an older man in Paris. According to a June tweet from the artist, she was born in Paris, moved to San Francisco when she was three months old, and lived there until she was 18, before moving to New York. Zouaï is now traveling the world, promoting her music. New Video Drop: PENOMECO - "COCO BOTTLE"

You might get thirsty for a Coke after watching the new animated music video from South Korean hip-hop artist PENOMECO. "COCO BOTTLE" dropped on August 15. Directed by Studio Pivote, it has the animated FANXYCHILD crew member singing about a woman with a "coco bottle body" whom he meets at a party at the pool.
