What's Next for Jay Park After Dropping Visual for New Song "To Life" and Stepping Down As CEO of AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC?

He's touched millions of hearts with his music, dance moves and public actions for more than a decade, and now mega entertainer Jay Park is starting a new chapter with a "toast to life."

On January 1, the singer/rapper turned entrepreneur dropped the official music video on his YouTube channel, for his new single-- "To Life." The song is about his hustle in the music industry and other achievements.

In the visual, the long-time artist sets his AOMG ring and H1GHR MUSIC chain down on a display. The scene cementing his December 31 social media announcement of his decision to step down from his position of CEO from both of his hip-hop music labels-- AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC.

Park founded AOMG in 2013, just years after parting ways with JYP Entertainment, where he was the leader of KPOP group 2PM. He created H1GHR MUSIC with music producer Cha Cha Malone in 2017.

In the video for "To Life," there are clips of Jay Park on stage at concerts from the past, but there are also scenes of Park looking intensely at a bottle of WON SOJU, his newest venture.

Towards the end of the video, Park is joined by his AOMG artists. The video is followed by a personal message from Park, who is wearing a Seattle Seahawks hat. In the message, he says 2021 was a hard year for him. He also adds that it took a lot of thinking and organizing his emotions to come to his conclusion.

He also thanks fans for following his career and his label family saying... "This is not the end, but just think the form has changed and it's the next step." He continues... "For all the fans, I would like to thank y'all for supporting me, AOMG, H1GHR MUSIC and please stay tuned for our next moves."

Park closes the message after picking up a bottle of WON SOJU saying.. "You know what it is man, Art of Movement, Seattle to Seoul, AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC, more love, more laughter, more vision, and of course WON SOJU."

There is an Instagram account and a website for Jay Park's new brand of traditional Korean distilled soju. The product has not yet officially been launched, but it is coming soon. Park has been talking about his own soju brand for years, and even dropped a song titled “SOJU” featuring 2 Chainz in 2018. It was his first release under Roc Nation. In addition, Park often wears a diamond soju bottle necklace created by celebrity jeweler Ben Baller. It appears Park will be focusing on the distribution of WON SOJU in the near future. But in the meantime, his personal Instagram account has been deactivated.

Before releasing a statement saying he was stepping down as CEO, Park tweeted..."If I ever retire or disappear make sure to miss me." Days later, as fans assess the news, thousands of people around the world already do indeed miss the global star, but they are also looking forward to what's yet to come.
