Now Listening To: Filipino Hip-Hop and R&B - PARADISE RISING's EP "Semilucent 2"

Back for a second round of new sounds, 88rising's label PARADISE RISING has dropped a new EP featuring Filipino hip-hop and R&B artists. The 5-track "Semilucent 2" project hit streaming sites on October 4 with several visuals on YouTube. The mini-album includes music from Canadian duo MANILA GREY, as well as singers Steven Peregrina, Daze and Yuna (from Malaysia), rapper Curtismith, CA Christian Alexander and producer Manila Killa. The new music follows the first "Semilucent" EP, which rolled out in July 2020. Check out the new project below.

The Full First LIVE Performance of Kris Wu & Travis Scott - "Deserve" - It's Fire!

If you're sitting down, just go ahead and stand up and get ready to move, because once you see this full clip of Kris Wu's and Travis Scott's first live performance of their new single "Deserve," you won't be able to sit still. According to Wu's social media posts on October 13, the two took over New York City (at the Up&Down Club), during the release party for "DESERVE."  And their hip-hop performance is banging hot!  When Scott introduces Wu on stage, he says "It's time to get ratchet,"  and the two turn up for real. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

On Sept. 10, he revealed that the actress portraying ECÂF in the music video and on Twitter, is named Tatiana. And the person who sings the vocals for her single release, "Pictures," is actually Ruel's sister Coco. Original Post (08/11/19) ... New Video Drop: Rich Brian raps to an ex-girlfriend about their "History" in his latest visual

88rising artist Brian Imanuel (a.k.a. Rich Brian) has just dropped the official music video for his track "History." In the visual released on October 10, he raps to an ex-girlfriend at a party about what could've been for them, as he tries to get her back. The Indonesian (born) rapper, co-directed his new music video with James Defina. The self-produced track originally hit streaming sites as part of the 88rising collective album "Head in the Clouds," back in July. Check out the video below. David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park Returning as Judges for 'Asia's Got Talent' Season 3

After a successful season two, Asia's Got Talent is gearing up for its season 3 premiere, with returning celebrity judges David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park, as well as Alan Wong and Justin Bratton returning as hosts. A video announcement revealed the news on social media on September 16. This will be Jay Park's second year as a judge. David Foster and Anggun have been with AGT since season one. The new season will premiere sometime later this fall, with acts from different countries in Asia. In August, free limited TV audience tickets were being offered at the Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios, for recordings from September 19 - 27. Delivering that West Coast rewind with 80s G-funk beats, Seattle rapper/producer Anthony Danza has dropped his latest project (out now on Spotify and Amazon music). The Black Umbrella/Proof Avenue artist released "The BBS Diaries" on May 26, with a visual for one of its tracks, "At All Costs," pre-released on YouTube on May 24. The video shot by Steve Arsenio and edited by photographer Harry Clean.
