Back for a second round of new sounds, 88rising's label PARADISE RISING has dropped a new EP featuring Filipino hip-hop and R&B artists. The 5-track "Semilucent 2" project hit streaming sites on October 4 with several visuals on YouTube. The mini-album includes music from Canadian duo MANILA GREY, as well as singers Steven Peregrina, Daze and Yuna (from Malaysia), rapper Curtismith, CA Christian Alexander and producer Manila Killa. The new music follows the first "Semilucent" EP, which rolled out in July 2020. Check out the new project below.

Russ returns with New Single & MV - "AINT GOIN BACK"

Atlanta-bred artist Russ has returned with a visual for his new self-produced track. The rapper dropped the official music video for his "AINT GOIN BACK" on March 26. The Edgar Esteves directed video puts Russ in a mansion, spitting out lyrics; saying he's not going back to "when it was no Russ, just Russell." According to his online bio, Russ is of Sicilian descent and was born in 1992 as Russell Vital in New Jersey. He lived in North Carolina and Kentucky, before moving to Georgia. His last full length studio project dropped last year in September, titled "ZOO." It followed "There's Really A Wolf," a project mix of trap and R&B. Check out his new music video below.

Concert Recap: Beyoncé In Nashville - Late But Right on Time

            by Nefertiti Jenkins Fans who waited five months to see Beyoncé for The Formation World Tour in Nashville, waited at the edge of their seats a little longer on Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Nissan Stadium. The show was originally scheduled to take place in May, toward the beginning of her tour, but she postponed the show until October. Tickets said it started at 7:30 p.m., but DJ Khaled who opened for Beyoncé , didn't come out until well after 8:00 p.m. Of course he hyped up the crowd, with a number of old school and new school hits, but he was small on the stage, working his music, next to a giant cube called The Monolith. The Monolith rotates, projects videos, and has secret pathways. Rapper GUN is trapped inside an "AQUARIUM" in new single and MV release

LowLand crew member GUN from South Korea's STARSHIPX Entertainment delivers melodic lyrics from inside a glass aquarium while waiting on his love, in a new music video for his latest single. The track and blue tinted visual dropped on April 1st. It follows the rapper's previous release of "Red Light" with crew member Jhnovr in mid 2018. Beyond glass walls, all that lays is a colossal aquarium. I was always the one spectating you, and never the other way around. AOMG Welcomes Sogumm to the Label after her "Signhere" win on MBN

South Korean label AOMG (founded by Jay Park), now has two female artists. AOMG welcomed Sogumm to the team on October 31, after the final episode of Signhere on MBN. The singer took home first place, on the competition show. Her total scores for her performance beating out Meloh, Maddox and MBA. Sogumm joins Hoody, and a crew of popular male artists, as the second woman signed to AOMG. Hoody became the first female artist to sign to the hip-hop and R&B record label back in 2015. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. New Music: South Korean R&B singer MELOH returns with Self-titled EP

Fans have been watching for South Korean singer MELOH ever since he hit the stage for AOMG's Signhere  audition TV show program in 2019 on MBN. While he didn't finish first, he did make it to the finals with his smooth vocals.  Fast forward to 2021, and MELOH is back with his first EP, titled "MELOH," and signed to the new hip-hop label-- Daytona Entertainment, founded by The Quiett and Yumdda. MELOH's new self-titled R&B mini-album hit streaming sites on January 2. Central Cee drops debut album "Can't Rush Greatness"

After a decade in the game, London rapper Central Cee has returned with his debut album "Can't Rush Greatness." His 17-track release hit streaming sites on January 24 with fast flowing lyrics of reflection, introspection and flexes.  Features on the project include Young Miko, 21 Savage, Dave, Lil Durk and Lil Baby.  The album follows the success of his mixtapes "Wild West" in 2021 and "23" in 2022. The 26-year-old UK Drill artist has been recording music since 2015.
