Singer G.Soul Discharged from the Military

R&B singer G.Soul has been discharged from the Republic of Korea Army. He announced the news on Instagram on September 4th (KST). The H1GHR MUSIC soulful artist enlisted in December of 2017, for his mandatory military service. 

On social media, he posted that the army has been one of the "most challenging yet rewarding experiences" of his life. The singer also says he can't wait to let fans hear the "new music" that he's working on.

Golden Changes Name Back to G.Soul After Contract Ends With H1GHR MUSIC

Days after record label H1GHR MUSIC announced its contract with singer Golden had come to an end, the artist on Sunday, January 10, tweeted on Twitter he was changing his stage name back to G.Soul.   The singer Kim Ji-hyun, had been going by the moniker Golden since December 2019 . But fans first got to know the South Korean soulful artist as G.Soul, when he debuted under JYP Entertainment with the release of his EP "Coming Home" in 2015. His debut came after training under JYP for 15 years. In 2017, G.Soul left JYP and joined H1GHR MUSIC, where he released "Circles," "Hate Everything" and "Another Sad Love Song." With the departure from H1GHR MUSIC, the singer is reminding fans to support his work on his YouTube channel. China Mac Announces Rap Challenge after Dropping New Single "H.E.R" prod. by Little Vic

After previously pulling his music catalog from streaming sites, rapper China Mac is back on Spotify and Apple Music with a new single about hip-hop. The Brooklyn, New York artist, who's also the host of Mac Eats on YouTube, dropped his Little Vic produced song "H.E.R" on September 7.  After the release of "H.E.R," China Mac asked fans to join him in a rap challenge in creating their own lyrics to the beat of the track. Back for a second round of new sounds, 88rising's label PARADISE RISING has dropped a new EP featuring Filipino hip-hop and R&B artists. The 5-track "Semilucent 2" project hit streaming sites on October 4 with several visuals on YouTube. The mini-album includes music from Canadian duo MANILA GREY, as well as singers Steven Peregrina, Daze and Yuna (from Malaysia), rapper Curtismith, CA Christian Alexander and producer Manila Killa. New Music: Tobi Lou - "WIDE Open"

Rapper Tobi Lou is "WIDE Open." The Nigeria-born-Chicago artist dropped his latest single on September 3, with an official visualizer for the track. The video shows highlights from his performance at Lollapalooza 2021. The four-day music festival kicked off in late July in Chicago. Tobi Lou's new song "WIDE Open" is off his upcoming album-- "Non-Parrishable," due out in September of 2022. 

Gump Drops Visual for Groovy New Song- "Sitcom"

South Korean artist Gump croons over smooth melodies in his new groovy track- "Sitcom." The song dropped with a quirky visual on October 13, under South Korean Indie music distributor -Mirrorball Music.  "Sitcom" is the title track of Gump's triple-single project, which also includes the songs "Merry-go" and "Fragile."  Check it out below. 

Sam Kim Has Got "The Juice" In New Single Release

Singer Sam Kim is back with a new funky single with a jazzy vibe. The Korean-American artist dropped his track "The Juice" on June 23, with an official music video, featuring the singer going crazy over love. In the visual there's even a little choreographed dance. Check it out below. 

BUMKEY Drops "All Of My Life" Single Feat. Babylon

South Korean artist BUMKEY teams up with R&B singer Babylon for a new summer love song titled "All Of My Life." The sweet ballad dropped on July 26 with an official music video on YouTube.  The two artists previously worked together on singer Chancellor's single and remix - "Automatic." Check out "All Of My Life" below. 

YUGYEOM Grooves with Jay Park and Punchnello in Official Live Clip for "Love The Way"

Harmonizing with smooth R&B vocals, new AOMG artist YUGYEOM has released the latest visual off his first solo EP. The GOT7 singer dropped the official live clip for "Love The Way," featuring AOMG CEO Jay Park and rapper Punchnello on June 23. The Cha Cha Malone produced track is off YUGYEOM's "Point Of View: U" EP, which hit streaming sites on June 17. The singer and Park previously teased "Love The Way" on Instagram in February with a few dance moves, after officially announcing that YUGYEOM had signed to the label.   YUGYEOM has also released visuals promoting other songs from the new EP, including the official videos for "All Your Fault," featuring GRAY and "I Want U Around," featuring DeVita. He's also been hitting the stage for various music shows and live performances since the rollout of the project.
