Ted Park drops new anthem for anyone who needs a little uplifting - New single & MV - "Ugly"


H1GHR MUSIC hip-hop artist Ted Park has not had it easy, and he's sharing some of his pain and struggles in a new single and lyric music video - "Ugly." On it he sings... "some of the things I've been through been so ugly." He also follows with positive advice: "Don't get in your feelings, go get to the money."

Park's message in this song, can be an anthem for anyone questioning life, or fighting to survive bullying.
I'm alive alive for you. I want to show you that dreams can come true. Even when they say that you won't, and the world is screaming don't, that you'll do what you love for you.

Mary J. Blige Returns with "Good Morning Gorgeous" and "Amazing"

The queen of R&B is back with two new singles. Ahead of a February album drop, singer Mary J. Blige released "Good Morning Gorgeous" with a visual, and "Amazing," featuring DJ Khaled on December 3. The first, "Good Morning Gorgeous" is a track of self-empowerment, self-reflection and self-love, connecting with everyone moving forward after the hurt, stress and pains of life--the single reminiscent of the vibe from Blige's 1994 "My Life" album. KHip-Hop Tours/Concerts Happening Soon in 2022

Fans of South Korean hip-hop will soon have a chance to see their favorite artists on stage. More than two years after the coronavirus pandemic put live in-person performances on hold, now with declining cases globally, artists are once again preparing to go on tour.  That includes Khip-hop rapper, Hi-Lite Records founder Paloalto, as well as AOMG artists YUGYEOM, Woo, Coogie, Sogumm, DeVita and DJ Wegun. In addition, Kpop mega stars BTS are also preparing for a mini- Las Vegas residency.  Rapper Paloalto kicks off the Khip-hop tour season. His U.S. tour begins March 10 in New York. He then hits the stage in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Seattle.  AOMG artists Woo, Coogie, Sogumm, DeVita and DJ Wegun begin their "Above Ordinary USA Tour" on March 18 at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas. UPDATE: AOMG YouTube channel back after hacker attack

UPDATED: May 12, 2022 The official AOMG YouTube channel is back. According to AOMG a hacker took control of the channel on May 10th. The label posted a notice on social media on May 11, saying it had then managed to restore the channel, but YouTube terminated the site, due to the content uploaded by the hacker.  After reaching out to YouTube, it appears the channel is now officially restored for AOMG for good. The channel has 1.85 million subscribers, and includes content from its artists including ELO, YUGYEOM, DeVita, LeeHi, Hoody, sogumm, Loco, GRAY, Simon Dominic and more. Jay Park drops performance video for new song "Thoughts Of You" feat. pH-1 & BENZO

Multilingual artist and businessman Jay Park has released a new single with Chinese and English lyrics. Park dropped "Thoughts Of You" featuring pH-1 and BENZO on April 28, with a performance video on YouTube featuring his MVP (More Vision Project) dance crew and rapper pH-1 also busting a few moves. The new song follows the rollout of Jay Park's chart-topping song "GANADARA" on March 11, featuring South Korean singer and actress IU. Park released a performance video for that song on April 24, featuring MVP and HolyBang. The video dropped one day before his 35th birthday on April 25. The release of the new music comes under Park's new label/company MORE VISION, which he announced on March 2, while successfully launching his new soju brand WON SOJU and after stepping down as CEO from AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC.

Drake and Jack Harlow shoot music video during The Kentucky Derby for song "Churchill Downs"

On the eve of the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby, Louisville native and rapper, 24-year-old Jack Harlow dropped his new album- "Come Home the Kids Miss You." The project hit streaming sites on May 6th, one day before the May 7th Derby at the Churchill Downs horse-racetrack in Louisville.  Harlow's album includes the Drake-assisted song "Churchill Downs," in which the two rappers share lyrics of introspection before Drake wraps up the more than five minute track with... "Kentucky derby races, my presence in the spot is so abrasive. Box at the Churchill Downs, that's motivation, yeah. And shorty like, "You know that boy Jack is goin' places."    The lyrics in Drake's verse were a prelude to what was to come. Ama Lou returns with visual for "Same Old Ways"

London singer Ama Lou dropped the official music video for her song "Same Old Ways" on April 27. The track is off her "At Least We Have This" EP which hit streaming sites on November 26, 2021, with the popular R&B single "Trust Nobody." She dropped the deluxe version of the EP, on March 18, 2022, with a Live Session of each track.  In the visual for "Same Old Ways," Lou arrives at a private school and joins in on the campus activities with students. Hot New Music: Jack Harlow - "First Class," Paulo Londra - "Chance" and ChaMane - "26"

Hip-hop is dominating the charts from around the world. During the week ending April 9, some hot new music hit streaming sites, including new hits from Louisville, KY rapper Jack Harlow, Argentine artist Paulo Londra and South Korean rapper ChaMane. Jack Harlow's banger "First Class" rolled out on streaming sites on April 8, with an official visualizer (that's currently trending on YouTube) just days after a preview of the song on social media with the artist in the studio went viral. The rapper samples Fergie’s 2006 hit “Glamorous” in "First Class." According to Chart Data, the new song has already topped the global Spotify chart and has earned the biggest chart debut of the year. B.I links up with Soulja Boy and DeVita in new song - "BTBT"

South Korean rapper and singer B.I dropped his new collaboration "BTBT," with American rapper Soulja Boy on May 13. His song featuring AOMG singer DeVita, is a pre-release off his upcoming album project "LOVE OR LOVED [L.O.L]." The single is a mixture of dance vibes with afrobeat backgrounds. The song title refers to a Korean phrase that means staggering.  B.I is a former member of Kpop group iKON, and he's now releasing music as a solo artist under his 131 Label, affiliated with IOK Music. On May 13, the rapper released a futuristic music video with the rollout for "BTBT." He has also announced a performance video with choreography by AITTY TOO for the single. That visual is due out on May 17 (or May 18 KST). 

BE'O Drops Visual for "Counting Stars" feat. Beenzino

South Korean rapper BE'O released the official music video for his song "Counting Stars," featuring Beenzino, on December 13. The track actually hit streaming sites the day before on December 12.  BE'O was the second runner-up on Show Me The Money 10, the most recent season of the rap competition series. The 21-year-old artist is signed under FameUs Entertainment and previously participated in SMTM 7 and 9, and in the third season of High School Rapper under his name Yoo Chan-wook.  Currently fans can't get enough of the rapper's live performance of "Counting Stars" and the single is climbing on the charts. Jackson Wang Drops New Self-Titled Song

Rapper Jackson Wang has returned with a new release. The GOT7 former JYP Entertainment artist from Hong Kong dropped his new self-titled single with an animated visual on January 11. Before the release, Wang tweeted "Who I am. What I wanna do. Everything about my life here in this song." In the music video, we see an animated visual of Wang, as he walks mostly alone on a sidewalk and sings... "Taking my path step by step, it ain't so bad. When you get to it, it ain't so sad." He then goes on to share his story, as he raps about leaving home at the age of 17, as a fencing champion, in 2011 to start a career in the music industry in South Korea as a KPOP entertainer. He also raps he was homesick after arriving in South Korea, but found a Chinese restaurant, where the owner comforted him.   After the release of the single, Wang posted on Instagram.... "This is me.
