Hi-Lite Records' YunB is an "Alcoholic" in new double single & MV release feat. Bassagong

In the latest drop from South Korean label Hi-Lite Records, artist YunB raps about being an "Alcoholic" due in part to addiction, and the influence of those around him.

The melodic Yosi produced track featuring Bassagong, is one of two off YunB's double single release under the title song "Alcoholic." The second song is "Rebound Girl," produced by O.T.O.

There are English subtitles on the somewhat trippy music video for "Alcoholic." Check it out below.

Peruvian-American singer A.CHAL (Alejandro Chal Salazar) is working through his emotions in his new single "Numb The Pain". The artist dropped his new song and the official music video for it on October 13. On social media A.CHAL says the visual was shot in Huanchaco, Trujillo, Peru. He says as a child he remembers living there on the sand in a small hut. The singer says the song itself was recorded in Paris. NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. The announcement was published on the BTS official fan cafe on November 13. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. Korean Hip-Hop or khip-hop, is hot right now. There are a lot of talented artists making some good music in South Korea at the moment. This is not kpop. This is music, from artists whose albums could play on urban radio, if they were promoting here in the United States. On July 8, 2017, INLet'sGo! got a chance to check out some of those who are making moves, and making people move. Hip-hop and R&B singers, rappers, and dancers hit two main stages at the NBA Buzzer Beat Festival at KBS Arena in Seoul, South Korea. Unfortunately, INLet'sGo! was not able to record all of the performances, but here's highlights from stage one, which includes Punchnello, OffOnOff, DPR Live, Dean, Bumzu, Horim, Niihwa, Suran, Heize and Jay Park.

South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022. He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. Jay Sean drops visual for new single "With You" ft. Gucci Mane & Asian Doll

British singer Jay Sean has released the official music video for his new single "With You," featuring Gucci Mane and Asian Doll. The Jamar Harding directed visual dropped on April 1st, and in it, there's a lot of booty. The video shows girls in bikinis and balaclavas riding down the road on two-wheel scooters. CONCERT WATCH: BTS World Tour - "Love Yourself "

Fans in love with BTS will get to see the kpop group live in concert in 2018. Big Hit Entertainment, the company for the South Korean boy band, announced on April 26, that the seven member group will be kicking off a "Love Yourself" World Tour on August 25th in Seoul. BTS will then perform in Los Angeles, CA on September 5, 6 & 8, followed by stops in Oakland, CA, Fort Worth, TX, Hamilton, Ontario, Newark, NJ, Chicago, IL, London, England, Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Berlin, Germany, and Paris, France. A video teaser for the tour has been uploaded on the Big Hit YouTube channel , and more dates are expected to be announced.
