Hot New Music: Jack Harlow - "First Class," Paulo Londra - "Chance" and ChaMane - "26"

Hip-hop is dominating the charts from around the world. During the week ending April 9, some hot new music hit streaming sites, including new hits from Louisville, KY rapper Jack Harlow, Argentine artist Paulo Londra and South Korean rapper ChaMane.

Jack Harlow's banger "First Class" rolled out on streaming sites on April 8, with an official visualizer (that's currently trending on YouTube) just days after a preview of the song on social media with the artist in the studio went viral. The rapper samples Fergie’s 2006 hit “Glamorous” in "First Class." According to Chart Data, the new song has already topped the global Spotify chart and has earned the biggest chart debut of the year. "First Class" is a pre-release off Harlow's upcoming project- "Come Home The Kids Miss You," due out on May 6th.

After a nearly three-year hiatus (due to a music contract legal battle) Paulo Londra has released his second single of 2022. The artist dropped his dreamy love-at-first sight melodic hip-hop track- "Chance" on April 6, with an official video on YouTube that has already gotten more than 17-million views. The song is also climbing on the global Spotify chart. "Chance" follows Londra's alt-rock “Plan A,” which dropped on March 23.

While showing the diversity of his flow, rapper ChaMane dropped his 4th album- "26" on April 8, as part of South Korean label Amoeba Culture's 'THE SEED' Project, which supports independent hip-hop and R&B artists. The album includes the Korean drill track- "Boys To Men," (feat. Huh!) and the laid-back perfect for a drive around town song- "Neon Seoul."

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Jay Park Adds and Interacts With Fans on Instagram Live Before Hawaii Concert

Social media is allowing fans and artists to interact with each other like never before. While in a room in Hawaii, on Sunday, April 1, singer/rapper/co-CEO Jay Park, discovered a feature during his Instagram Live stream, which allowed him to add and connect with fans, for 'one on one' time, but in front of thousands of people peering in. Jay Park was in Hawaii for a concert, with Hoody and pH-1 happening later that night.  At almost five minutes into his livestream, we hear the Roc Nation artist say, "I've never done this before." Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. A "Cold" Feature on the way for rapper Hanhae, even after dropping his "About Time" EP & "Flashback" MV and enlisting in the South Korean Military

Before leaving for the South Korean military on February 7, and posting the picture above to Instagram, South Korean rapper Hanhae, finished working on his latest EP titled "About Time." It dropped one day after he left to serve his country as a conscripted policeman. The BRANDNEW MUSIC artist (and former Show Me The Money contestant) included six songs of fast and smooth flow on his mini-album. A standout on the EP, is the melodic "About Time" title track, featuring the buttery vocals of BADMINTON. An official music video for the track 'Flashback' also dropped with the EP. Malaysian artist Yuna vibes like late 70s disco queen Donna Summer and diva Diana Ross in her latest pre-release off her upcoming project - "Rouge." The singer collaborated with English rapper Little Simz on the funky track titled - "Pink Youth." It hit streaming sites on June 28th. The song exudes girl power. Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." Rapper BLOO from MKIT RAIN‏, has returned with his second mini album. "BLOO IN WONDERLAND" (featuring niahn and labelmate nafla) dropped on November 19, with an official music video for its BIG BANANA produced track "I'm the one." In the visual, BLOO (with a melodic flat electric delivery), has taken on the character of a man in an intimate relationship with a beautiful woman. The song, as well as other tracks on the EP, include partial lyrics in English. The mini-album also includes the pre-released single "Take me" (feat. nafla). A spiritual Hip-Hop journey to Africa with Korean rapper JaeDal - in New Music Drop: "Period" EP & "Tree" MV
