NEW MUSIC: 88rising Mix It Up in "Head in the Clouds II" Album

Following another successful Head In The Clouds Festival back in August, in Los Angeles, 88rising has returned with a new 16-track "Head in the Clouds II" album. Their first "Head in the Clouds" compilation project dropped back in 2018.

This time around, 88rising has enlisted the collaboration of artists like Kpop hitmaker CHUNG HA, and Jackson Wang of kpop group GOT7. Also on the album are GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, RHYME SO, Barney Bones, Stephanie Poetri, Don Krez, Swae Lee, Major Lazer, Thai singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit and GoldLink.

And that's in addition to the 88rising labelmates - Rich Brian, NIKI, Higher Brothers, AUGUST 08 and Joji. There's also representation for the mixed bag of sounds of the project, from China, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Thailand and the United States. Expect to hear pop, hip-hop, dance, folk, electronic and more on the Joji executive produced collection. Check it out below.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. The Newest Member of AOMG - CODE KUNST - Drops Emotional Track & MV - "Rain Bird" feat. Tablo & Colde

Former HIGHGRND Producer, Code Kunst, is now the newest member of AOMG -- the Korean hip-hop (and R&B) label run by Jay Park and Simon Dominic. AOMG revealed the news to fans on June 10, with the release of Code Kunst's new single and music video, "Rain Bird," featuring his former YG Entertainment- HIGHGRND sub-labelmates, Tablo (of Epik High) and Colde (from offonoff). HIGHGRND was founded by Tablo in 2015. He stepped down from his position in 2017. New Music & MV: FANXY CHILD - "Y" featuring Zico, Crush, Dean, Penomeco, Millic & Staytuned

Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." Song of The Day: Kiana Ledé - "Take It All"

Showing her vocal range as an R&B artist, singer Kiana Ledé released "Take It All" on July 13, as one of seven songs on her new EP "Selfless." "Take It All" stands out on the mini album. The mostly acoustic track connects on an emotional level of maturity, which makes it today's Song of The Day. The 21-year-old artist has been active since she was a child, after winning a Kidz Bop's Kidz Star USA talent competition in 2011. Tickets for Jay Park's "Serenades & Body Rolls" tour featuring LNGSHOT are going fast

Fans hoping to get a ticket to the second part of Jay Park's "Serenades & Body Rolls" tour featuring his new KPOP group LNGSHOT may be out of luck soon. Tickets are going fast. Park announced on June 9th he and his group would be hitting the stage in September and October. Tickets for the general public went on sale on Friday, June 12th, with many venues close to selling out seats near the main stage by Sunday, June 14th. Park first announced his "Serenades & Body Rolls" tour in February 2025, hitting cities in Asia. This time around, he and his new boy band will perform in the United States, Europe and South America, his first in the U.S. in seven years and the first in South America. Bruno Mars shares Behind the Scenes clip from the Making of "24K Magic"

Bruno Mars has shared a never before seen clip of the making of "24K Magic," the title track and lead single from his third studio album (of the same name). On June 27, the singer uploaded video on Twitter and Instagram, and wrote that he found it in his cell phone. The video shows producer Brody Brown and Mars trying to figure out the groove for "24k Magic" in 2015. Former 'K-pop Star 5' Singer - Lexie Liu - Now Signed with 88rising

U.S. media company, 88rising, announced a new addition to their label on June 19, with a tweet that read, "Introducing Lexie Liu Boxin to the 88rising gang." The tweet included a link to Lexie Liu's new video, "Like A Mercedes," which dropped on the 88rising YouTube channel. The 19-year-old singer-songwriter from China, might be a familiar face for some kpop fans. According to media reports, in 2015, she participated in K-pop Star 5 , a South Korean competition show, where agencies hold auditions to find potential kpop stars. She came in fourth place, and was offered a deal with one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea, YG Entertainment, but she later declined. The singer's debut single and mv for 88rising, "Like A Mercedes," centers around a cyberpunk virtual reality storyline, with R&B and melodic hip-hop sounds in English and Chinese. Song of the Day: Jay Park - "Whenever"

Jay Park dropped his R&B single "Whenever" one year ago, on July 23, 2025. Crooning "call me whenever" in an English and Japanese version. The Japanese version includes a passionate live clip on YouTube from part one of his Serenades & Body Rolls tour last year in Japan. Since then, Park has announced part two for 2026 , which includes his More Vision South Korean boy band LNGSHOT. This second leg of the tour kicks off on September 3 in São Paulo, Brazil with stops in Mexico, North America and Europe. No word if he'll perform this song, but for now, Jay Park's "Whenever" is today's Song of the Day.

Jay Park gets a little ratchet in LA's Koreatown, in his new music video release -- "K-TOWN" with Hit-Boy. The visual dropped on May 17, just hours after the single hit streaming sites. Jay Sean drops visual for new single "With You" ft. Gucci Mane & Asian Doll

British singer Jay Sean has released the official music video for his new single "With You," featuring Gucci Mane and Asian Doll. The Jamar Harding directed visual dropped on April 1st, and in it, there's a lot of booty. The video shows girls in bikinis and balaclavas riding down the road on two-wheel scooters.
