AOMG drops Official Music Video for New Audition Show on MBN - "Sign Here" #SignHere

The first episode for AOMG's new audition show, "SignHere," airs on MBN in South Korea on Thursday, August 22, at 9:30 P.M. (KST). On the program, participants will be auditioning to become the next person to sign with the popular hip-hop/R&B label.

On August 8, AOMG released the official music video for the show. The visual is broken up into four chapters (songs) featuring its artists/producers who are the face of the program, beginning with the label's CEO, Jay Park.

Chapter 2 - "Show Window," Gray
Chapter 3 - "Devil," Code Kunst & Woo Won Jae
Chapter 4 - "Room Type," Simon Dominic

Jay Park Adds and Interacts With Fans on Instagram Live Before Hawaii Concert

Social media is allowing fans and artists to interact with each other like never before. While in a room in Hawaii, on Sunday, April 1, singer/rapper/co-CEO Jay Park, discovered a feature during his Instagram Live stream, which allowed him to add and connect with fans, for 'one on one' time, but in front of thousands of people peering in. Jay Park was in Hawaii for a concert, with Hoody and pH-1 happening later that night.  At almost five minutes into his livestream, we hear the Roc Nation artist say, "I've never done this before." He then says, "What, what's going on?" "Choose someone people who can see their live videos will be able to watch." He then admits, "I don't know what that means. I don't know what this is. Malaysian artist Yuna vibes like late 70s disco queen Donna Summer and diva Diana Ross in her latest pre-release off her upcoming project - "Rouge." The singer collaborated with English rapper Little Simz on the funky track titled - "Pink Youth." It hit streaming sites on June 28th. The song exudes girl power. Following his announced departure from YG Entertainment in July-- South Korean rapper/actor ONE (Jung Jae Won) is now back with a debut album titled "PRVT 01" under his PRIVATE ONLY independent company. Vietnamese Rapper Suboi - Drops MV for Summer Anthem "N-SAO?"

Suboi is now known as Vietnam's queen of hip-hop, after becoming the first successful female Vietnamese rapper in her country. On August 2nd, she released the official music video on the 88rising YouTube channel, for her latest track, "N-SAO?"  On it, the 28-year-old artist spits bars over a club beat. Suboi has been making music since 2007. Her last EP, "2.7," dropped in October of 2017.  In 2016, she freestyled for former U.S. President Barack Obama during his visit to Vietnam. Her new song, in Vietnamese (with English subtitles on the visual), is a summer anthem about empowerment.  Check out the music video down below.

Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Jay Park also currently has his own music audition competition show airing on MBN, in South Korea called SignHere . The show's goal is to find the next member of his first label - AOMG. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old.
