NEW MUSIC & MV: Jay Park's new banger with Hit-Boy - "K-TOWN" featuring a cameo from rapper Dumbfoundead‎

Jay Park gets a little ratchet in LA's Koreatown, in his new music video release -- "K-TOWN" with Hit-Boy. The visual dropped on May 17, just hours after the single hit streaming sites.

In the MV, we see half-naked women twerking, and Jay Park riding on the back of a Brink's armored truck, and of course we see lots of cash. Los Angeles‎ rapper Dumbfoundead makes a cameo appearance to pull an older couple out of a karaoke room. Check out the music video above.

Rapper Dok2 talks about his personal life and South Korean hip-hop - in English ("Kill Bill") interview with Snacky Chan for "Undergod"

On the March 7th episode of ' Target: Billboard - Kill Bill,' legendary rapper Dok2 brought a number of notable Korean (and Korean-American) rappers out on stage with him to perform his latest song. The show ' Kill Bill'  is an MBC hip-hop survival program which aims to put a South Korean hip-hop artist on the Billboard charts with a collaboration with DJ Khaled. Artists who hit the stage with Dok2 during this episode were Snacky Chan, Changmo, Double K, Deepflow, Los, Young B, Pyunny, Keem Hyo-Eun, Junoflo and Nucksal. After the show, Dok2 and Snacky Chan went backstage to record an interview for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." During their one on one, Dok2 compares hip-hop styles of trap and boom bap. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He told Dumbfoundead that he used to attend a school for foreigners in Busan (because of his mixed Korean, Spanish and Filipino heritage), but after 6th grade he moved to Seoul and did not return back to school (due to family financial reasons). AOMG Welcomes Sogumm to the Label after her "Signhere" win on MBN

South Korean label AOMG (founded by Jay Park), now has two female artists. AOMG welcomed Sogumm to the team on October 31, after the final episode of Signhere on MBN. The singer took home first place, on the competition show. Her total scores for her performance beating out Meloh, Maddox and MBA. Sogumm joins Hoody, and a crew of popular male artists, as the second woman signed to AOMG. Hoody became the first female artist to sign to the hip-hop and R&B record label back in 2015. Beyoncé drops surprise 'Homecoming' Live Album to go with Netflix Documentary Release

Fans were preparing to stream "Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé" on April 17 on Netflix, when in a surprise move hours after midnight, Beyoncé dropped a new 40-track live album, as a soundtrack to the new documentary. "Homecoming: The Live Album," features music from her 2018 headline performance at Coachella in California. The singer made history during her two-hour set, as the first African-American woman to headline the music festival. The performance included a marching-band tribute to HBCUs (historically black colleges and universities), as well as Black fraternities and sororities, which of course includes stepping. The Netflix documentary shows the live performances and rehearsals, and honors prominent leaders of Black culture. Rapper Jessi is back with another single under P NATION (the South Korean record label founded by Psy). This time around, Jessi has global star Jay Park on the track and visual. Jessi released their collaboration - "Drip" on November 1st, and straight out the gate, she comes out swinging with swag, and singing, that she's not "going anywhere." South Korean rapper E SENS' latest project - "The Stranger," includes hard flow and beats on a 13-track full length album. He released the album on streaming sites on July 22. Formerly a member of the (disbanded) hip-hop duo Supreme Team (with Simon Dominic), the 32-year-old artist previously released a visual for one of his tracks off the project, "Son of A" ("그XX아들같이"), on July 4th. Korean-American hip-hop and R&B artist Jay Park, dropped his 4th full album "Everything You Wanted," online on October 19. It includes 19 songs, including "Feature," a sexy bedroom talk track featuring the seductive voice of AOMG producer and long time friend Cha Cha Malone. Jay Park sings on it "this is going to be your favorite song," and it just might be. The album shows Park's vocal range as an R&B artist, and is easy listening for anyone in love, or who wants to be loved, but might make those who are lonely, feel heart-broken. Park also released the official music video for “Drive,” a track on the album, with producer Gray, which stars Bora from Sistar, and looks like it was shot from a resort location. Drawing from his church upbringing (his father was a pastor), London singer Samm Henshaw, has released a gospel chorus influenced track titled "Doubt," featuring Wretch 32. The single hit streaming sites with an official music video uploaded to YouTube on October 4. It includes cartoon animated versions of Henshaw and Wretch 32, delivering soulful epiphanic lyrics...
