Concert Watch: H1GHR MUSIC's Sik-K and Woodie Gochild to Tour Europe with DJ SMMT

Khip-hop fans in Europe have another big tour headed their way. South Korean rappers Sik-K and Woodie Gochild from H1GHR MUSIC, will be hitting the stage in five European cities, beginning in March. They'll be live in concert in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Manchester and London -- thanks to the Cult of Ya.

This will be Sik-K's second time working with the promoters. The trap artist hit the stage in London earlier this year through the Cult of Ya with Jay Park, Hoody and DJ Wegun. Check Sik-K out when he returns with Woodie Gochild and DJ SMMT. Tickets go on sale Monday, December10th. Visit CULTOFYA.COM for more information. 

UPDATE: 12/14/18 - According to the Cult of Ya, due to demand, two more shows have been added; another show in Paris and one in Warsaw.

Jay Park Adds and Interacts With Fans on Instagram Live Before Hawaii Concert

Social media is allowing fans and artists to interact with each other like never before. While in a room in Hawaii, on Sunday, April 1, singer/rapper/co-CEO Jay Park, discovered a feature during his Instagram Live stream, which allowed him to add and connect with fans, for 'one on one' time, but in front of thousands of people peering in. Jay Park was in Hawaii for a concert, with Hoody and pH-1 happening later that night.  At almost five minutes into his livestream, we hear the Roc Nation artist say, "I've never done this before." He then says, "What, what's going on?" "Choose someone people who can see their live videos will be able to watch." He then admits, "I don't know what that means. I don't know what this is. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." DANCE MOVES OF THE DAY: Will Smith & Nicky Jam - Latin Dance Lessons in Colombian Restaurant

Will Smith has had another round of Latin dance lessons, this time with singer Nicky Jam down in Cartagena, Colombia. The actor, who is in Cartagena shooting a movie, shared a post on Instagram on April 23, showing what went down at a restaurant, during dinner with his son Jaden Smith. This is Will Smith's second time, sharing lessons with his followers. Back in March, Will posted his Salsa lesson with Marc Anthony from a yacht .  And it appears that Will Smith is a big fan of Nicky Jam. A "Cold" Feature on the way for rapper Hanhae, even after dropping his "About Time" EP & "Flashback" MV and enlisting in the South Korean Military

Before leaving for the South Korean military on February 7, and posting the picture above to Instagram, South Korean rapper Hanhae, finished working on his latest EP titled "About Time." It dropped one day after he left to serve his country as a conscripted policeman. The BRANDNEW MUSIC artist (and former Show Me The Money contestant) included six songs of fast and smooth flow on his mini-album. A standout on the EP, is the melodic "About Time" title track, featuring the buttery vocals of BADMINTON. An official music video for the track 'Flashback' also dropped with the EP. It features concert clips and behind the scenes footage. Lucky for fans, there is still more to come from the former Phantom member and “Amazing Saturday” variety show cast member. Rapper GUN is trapped inside an "AQUARIUM" in new single and MV release

LowLand crew member GUN from South Korea's STARSHIPX Entertainment delivers melodic lyrics from inside a glass aquarium while waiting on his love, in a new music video for his latest single. The track and blue tinted visual dropped on April 1st. It follows the rapper's previous release of "Red Light" with crew member Jhnovr in mid 2018. New Music: "BLOO IN WONDERLAND" (feat. niahn & nafla) & "I'm the one" MV

Rapper BLOO from MKIT RAIN‏, has returned with his second mini album. "BLOO IN WONDERLAND" (featuring niahn and labelmate nafla) dropped on November 19, with an official music video for its BIG BANANA produced track "I'm the one." In the visual, BLOO (with a melodic flat electric delivery), has taken on the character of a man in an intimate relationship with a beautiful woman. The song, as well as other tracks on the EP, include partial lyrics in English. The mini-album also includes the pre-released single "Take me" (feat. nafla). The label he's with, MKIT RAIN, is a LA based hip-hop label, with artists who create South Korean content. BLOO, released his first EP, "Downtown Baby," back in 2017. Rapper Jessi is back with another single under P NATION (the South Korean record label founded by Psy). This time around, Jessi has global star Jay Park on the track and visual. Jessi released their collaboration - "Drip" on November 1st, and straight out the gate, she comes out swinging with swag, and singing, that she's not "going anywhere."
