David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park Returning as Judges for 'Asia's Got Talent' Season 3

After a successful season two, Asia's Got Talent is gearing up for its season 3 premiere, with returning celebrity judges David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park, as well as Alan Wong and Justin Bratton returning as hosts. A video announcement revealed the news on social media on September 16. This will be Jay Park's second year as a judge. David Foster and Anggun have been with AGT since season one.

The new season will premiere sometime later this fall, with acts from different countries in Asia. In August, free limited TV audience tickets were being offered at the Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios, for recordings from September 19 - 27.

Asia's Got Talent (part of the global 'Got Talent' franchise), is a talent show featuring singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other performers of all ages competing for a $100,000 prize.

With last year show dates from October 12, 2017- December 14, 2017, Indonesian magician, The Sacred Riana, took home the top prize as the season two winner.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Jay Park Adds and Interacts With Fans on Instagram Live Before Hawaii Concert

Social media is allowing fans and artists to interact with each other like never before. While in a room in Hawaii, on Sunday, April 1, singer/rapper/co-CEO Jay Park, discovered a feature during his Instagram Live stream, which allowed him to add and connect with fans, for 'one on one' time, but in front of thousands of people peering in. Jay Park was in Hawaii for a concert, with Hoody and pH-1 happening later that night.  At almost five minutes into his livestream, we hear the Roc Nation artist say, "I've never done this before." Rapper Dumbfoundead in New Movie Co-Produced by Eminem

Hip-hop artist and battle rapper, Jonathan "Dumbfoundead" Park tweeted on Twitter on August 1, that he's in a new movie titled "Bodied." The film is directed by Joseph Kahn and co-produced by Eminem and Adi Shankar. It premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 7th. According to the festival's website, "Bodied" is a satirical battle rapper film ,  starring Anthony Michael Hall, Debra Wilson, and Calum Worthy with Dumbfoundead and fellow battle rapper Dizaster and others. When Asian and Black make Hip Hop

                      Asian artists and Black artists are collaborating more often on music projects now, more than ever before. You may not hear the music played yet on mainstream radio, but as our global culture shifts to more inclusiveness, you'll find these collaborations trending on social media, especially YouTube and SoundCloud. For example, Too $hort and Dumbfoundead on "Cochino," and Jay Park and Raz Simone on "Afraid of Me."
