New Video Drop: Jeremy Quest - "Work" and "Episode 2"

In less than a week, khip-hop rapper Jeremy Quest from New Wave Records (B-Free's label), has dropped two new videos on YouTube. The latest, uploaded on Feb. 28, is called "Work," and was directed by Sui Film / Team YAYA. The retro visual features the young artist bragging about his experience in the rap game ("you can not forget") and shows off his young model looks.

The second video Jeremy Quest dropped, "Episode 2," (with Charity) was released on Feb. 23, and could've been shot in China. In the description under the video, it says Shanghai Oct. 2017. It seems to pick up his adventures from his previous video called "Halloween". The lyrics are a little deeper than "Work," beginning with "lately I felt so lost." But some of the imagery displays bits of humor.

Check out both videos below, from the New Wave Records YouTube Channel...

Song of The Day: Villain's LIVE Video for "A Piece Of Work"

by Nefertiti Jenkins The fifth track on  Villain's first mini album is soul piercing, mesmerizing and beautiful. When you hear "A Piece Of Work" on the new "Bank Robber" EP, it will move you. The mostly hip-hop album dropped with an official music video for title track "Manitto," on August 1st with Planetarium Records. A second visual display of Villain's falsetto vocal range was uploaded days later, on August 3rd, as a live performance of "A Piece Of Work." Unlike other tracks on the album, which include lyrics in English and Korean, "A Piece Of Work" is a ballad and is almost entirely in Korean. According to translated subtitles of the Behind The Scenes video for "Bank Robber," the artist says the song is about having been in love with someone for a long time, without others (or that person) knowing. Even the scribbles on the wall are starting to fade too. I didn't erase it. The time passes by too much....
