Jay Park Adds and Interacts With Fans on Instagram Live Before Hawaii Concert

Social media is allowing fans and artists to interact with each other like never before. While in a room in Hawaii, on Sunday, April 1, singer/rapper/co-CEO Jay Park, discovered a feature during his Instagram Live stream, which allowed him to add and connect with fans, for 'one on one' time, but in front of thousands of people peering in. NEW VIDEO DROP: Ted Park - "Hands In The Air" featuring Jay Park

The official music video for Ted Park's "Hands In The Air," featuring Jay Park is now out. The video was released on April 26, on the YouTube channel for The Cut. It's colorful, and has the H1GHR MUSIC artist singing and dancing throughout to melodic hip-hop/R&B beats, and later in the video shows label co-CEO Jay Park, singing on his verse, about a good time with a lady, which includes a bottle of soju. The song itself is the first collaboration for Ted Park and Jay Park. Ted Park says "Hands In The Air" is the second single off his upcoming debut EP, "Plugged In." The first single off the album is called "Broke." It was released on April 16. Golden Changes Name Back to G.Soul After Contract Ends With H1GHR MUSIC

Days after record label H1GHR MUSIC announced its contract with singer Golden had come to an end, the artist on Sunday, January 10, tweeted on Twitter he was changing his stage name back to G.Soul. The singer Kim Ji-hyun, had been going by the moniker Golden since December 2019 . But fans first got to know the South Korean soulful artist as G.Soul, when he debuted under JYP Entertainment with the release of his EP "Coming Home" in 2015. His debut came after training under JYP for 15 years. In 2017, G.Soul left JYP and joined H1GHR MUSIC, where he released "Circles," "Hate Everything" and "Another Sad Love Song." Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022. He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. On the night of Thursday, April 10, South Korean boy band ENHYPEN hit the stage on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live with body rolls and screaming young kpop fans in the studio audience, as they performed their new English language single "Loose," for their American television debut. The performance left an impression on the television viewing audience across the country, with at least one viewer calling into an ABC local news station in Kentucky well after midnight, inquiring about the name of the group. The excited viewer asked the morning show news producer who picked up the phone, questions about where to find information about ENHYPEN, and where exactly the group was from. CONCERT WATCH: "Show Me The Money 5" U.S. Tour

Love hip hop? Check out the Show Me The Money tour hitting the U.S. this September, for some of the best performers in hip hop in concert. Show Me The Money is a Korean reality competition show in its 5th season, featuring popular recording artists from popular labels as judges and producers. Thousands of people tried out for the program earlier this year in Korea, but auditions were also held this season in Los Angeles. American producer Timbaland was a guest judge. According to promoter Powerhouse, SMTM5 winner BewhY and runner up CJAMM will be hitting the stage for the U.S. tour on September 3 rd in Chicago and September 4 th in Los Angeles.
