NEW MUSIC: FYVE Drops Debut Album - "NINE TO FYVE"

Spitting bars on intense and chill hip-hop melodic beats, South Korean rapper/songwriter FYVE released his debut album "NINE TO FYVE" on January 12 under Dynasty Muzik. The LP includes a mixture of authentic vibes, including an infusion of electrifying rock. Check it out below.

Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." Bruno Mars shares Behind the Scenes clip from the Making of "24K Magic"

Bruno Mars has shared a never before seen clip of the making of "24K Magic," the title track and lead single from his third studio album (of the same name). On June 27, the singer uploaded video on Twitter and Instagram, and wrote that he found it in his cell phone.  The video shows producer Brody Brown and Mars trying to figure out the groove for "24k Magic" in 2015. According to Bruno Mars, they tried nearly 100 different patterns and pockets to finally land what we hear today (a Zapp & Roger inspired track). New Music and Video Drop: Jay Park - "FSU" ft. GASHI & Rich The Kid

On the second single release, from his upcoming Roc Nation debut album, "Ask ‘Bout Me," hip-hop artist Jay Park spits, "I do R&B, but they want me to rap." The track, "FSU," along with the visual for it, dropped on July 6, and features rappers GASHI and Rich The Kid. The single was produced by Groovy Room -- a duo producer team from H1GHR MUSIC (where Park is co-CEO. He's also co-CEO of South Korean label AOMG). The music video for "FSU," directed by Jinooya Makes, has Park in the middle of a desert in the beginning, declaring his place on the U.S. music scene.  The video is below and the album is set to drop on July 20. Rapper Dok2 talks about his personal life and South Korean hip-hop - in English ("Kill Bill") interview with Snacky Chan for "Undergod"

On the March 7th episode of ' Target: Billboard - Kill Bill,' legendary rapper Dok2 brought a number of notable Korean (and Korean-American) rappers out on stage with him to perform his latest song. The show ' Kill Bill'  is an MBC hip-hop survival program which aims to put a South Korean hip-hop artist on the Billboard charts with a collaboration with DJ Khaled. Artists who hit the stage with Dok2 during this episode were Snacky Chan, Changmo, Double K, Deepflow, Los, Young B, Pyunny, Keem Hyo-Eun, Junoflo and Nucksal. After the show, Dok2 and Snacky Chan went backstage to record an interview for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." During their one on one, Dok2 compares hip-hop styles of trap and boom bap. Song of The Day: Khea - "Loca" (Remix) featuring Bad Bunny, Duki & Cazzu

The Spanish lyrics are explicit when translated into English, but this Latin Trap remix is so alluring, that you just can't help but to groove to it. Hip-hop artist Khea, from Argentina, dropped his "Loca" remix video featuring Bad Bunny, Duki and Cazzu back in April, and it currently has more than 173-million views on YouTube. The track, with its repetitive beat is about a "crazy" woman on social media, but towards the end of it, we hear the seductive female response from Argentine rapper Cazzu. Concert Watch: Eric Nam North America Tour

He announced on social media on March 28, that the dates and venues will be released on Tuesday, April 3, and in a tweet wrote, "I’m coming to a city near you with new music." Just the day before, on March 27, he had announced that his new album was on the way, saying, his "first mini album in 2 years releases April 11," and "You’re gonna love it." According to the artist, ticket information for the upcoming tour will be found at ericnam.com. Eric Nam is a Korean-American singer born in Atlanta. In addition to singing, he is a great interviewer. During the Asia "Black Panther" premiere in Seoul, he got to interview the cast for the film, including Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. The announcement was published on the BTS official fan cafe on November 13.  RM wrote on it, that although he's been called Rap Monster for the past five years, he felt the need to change it, because that title was   getting more and more distant from the music done for the past 5 years.                                                                    -RM (via allkpop)    Back on September 19, 2017, Rap Monster announced on his Beats1Noisey Interview that he would be changing his name to RM. by Nefertiti Jenkins On the track "Too Fast," from his February 7th "Hello" EP, AOMG rapper Loco sings the lyrics "Don't say goodbye," but that's exactly what he had to do, when he enlisted in the South Korean military on the same day of the EP release. In fact, the entire mini-album seems to offer messages to decipher while he's away as a conscripted policeman. Starting with the EP title and the title of its tracks-- "Nothing," "It's Been a While," featuring Zion.T, "Tangled Up," featuring pH-1, "Some Beatmaker," featuring yeesang & Woo, "Too Fast ," featuring Paloalto and "How." B.I links up with Soulja Boy and DeVita in new song - "BTBT"

South Korean rapper and singer B.I dropped his new collaboration "BTBT," with American rapper Soulja Boy on May 13. His song featuring AOMG singer DeVita, is a pre-release off his upcoming album project "LOVE OR LOVED [L.O.L]." The single is a mixture of dance vibes with afrobeat backgrounds. The song title refers to a Korean phrase that means staggering.  B.I is a former member of Kpop group iKON, and he's now releasing music as a solo artist under his 131 Label, affiliated with IOK Music. On May 13, the rapper released a futuristic music video with the rollout for "BTBT." He has also announced a performance video with choreography by AITTY TOO for the single. That visual is due out on May 17 (or May 18 KST).
