CONCERT WATCH: Illionaire Ambition U.S. Tour 2017


Finally Hip-Hop fans who love South Korean artists, get to experience another fire concert here in the U.S.

The Illionaire Ambition U.S. Tour kicks off on November 30th.

According to Transparent Agency, this 2017 tour will bring together for the first time in the U.S., Dok2, The Quiett, Changmo, Hash Swan, and Keem HyoEun.

ILLIONAIRE RECORDS is an independent South Korean record label founded by Dok2 and the Quiett. In late 2011, they signed on Beenzino.

As an independent label under IlLLIONAIRE, AMBITION MUSIK was formed in 2016 with Kim Hyo-Eun, Hash Swan, and Changmo. 

Tickets and Very Limited Meet + Greet will go on sale Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 12:00PM PST.

South African singer-songwriter Tyla is one of the hottest rising stars of 2023. She's currently taking over social media with her TikTok viral dance challenge from her latest single- “Water.” The song hit streaming sites in July. The official music video arrived on YouTube on October 6. It's currently (as of this writing) trending #26 on the site with nearly 13 million views.  According to Billboard, “Water” has also climbed to #1 on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart, dated Oct. 21-- stopping the record 58-week streak from Rema and Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down,” which had led the list since Sept. 10, 2022. “Water” marks Tyla's first top spot on any Billboard chart.  The 21-year-old Johannesburg native debuted with her first music video: "Getting Late," featuring Kooldrink in 2021. Central Cee drops debut album "Can't Rush Greatness"

After a decade in the game, London rapper Central Cee has returned with his debut album "Can't Rush Greatness." His 17-track release hit streaming sites on January 24 with fast flowing lyrics of reflection, introspection and flexes.  Features on the project include Young Miko, 21 Savage, Dave, Lil Durk and Lil Baby.  The album follows the success of his mixtapes "Wild West" in 2021 and "23" in 2022. The 26-year-old UK Drill artist has been recording music since 2015.

Jay Park to embark on a "Serenades & Body Rolls" world tour

Seattle to Seoul artist Jay Park has announced plans to embark on a "Serenades & Body Rolls" world tour. The entertainer posted on social media that it will be his first tour in six years, kicking off the 10th anniversary of his hit hip-hop song "MOMMAE," featuring Ugly Duck. Park dropped "MOMMAE" with a freaky visual on May 22, 2015. In his post on February 21, 2025, officially announcing his tour, Park asked fans to leave a comment, if they want to see him perform in their city. First Tour in 6 YEARS!! Bruno Mars shares Behind the Scenes clip from the Making of "24K Magic"

Bruno Mars has shared a never before seen clip of the making of "24K Magic," the title track and lead single from his third studio album (of the same name). On June 27, the singer uploaded video on Twitter and Instagram, and wrote that he found it in his cell phone.  The video shows producer Brody Brown and Mars trying to figure out the groove for "24k Magic" in 2015. According to Bruno Mars, they tried nearly 100 different patterns and pockets to finally land what we hear today (a Zapp & Roger inspired track). CONCERT WATCH: Jessie Reyez - 'Being Human On Tour'

R&B/pop singer Jessie Reyez is featured on Eminem's album "Kamikaze" ("Nice Guy" and "Good Guy"), and she got Normani and Kehlani on her recent remix of   "Body Count,"   which follows her first track in Spanish--“Sola.” Both (of her) tracks are on her new project. Reyez has been releasing songs one at a time from her upcoming "Being Human In Public" EP. The album is due out this fall, and the Canadian artist will also be hitting the road this fall, with her Being Human On Tour run. Reyez will be in concert all across North America starting October 11, in Edmonton (Alberta, Canada). The tour was announced on September 4. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 7. CODE KUNST drops new music featuring Tabber, Jay Park, Yerin Baek & WENDY- "Archive 01"

As a pre-release from his upcoming album, South Korean producer CODE KUNST rolled out two new songs on Wednesday, March 8. "Archive 01" includes a sultry "55," featuring Yerin Baek and WENDY.  It also includes the song "BAD BAD," featuring Tabber and Jay Park. Record label AOMG says the full album-- CODE KUNST's fifth LP--- "Remember Archive" drops on Thursday, March 16.

South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022.  He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. He became known for his sing-song melodic rap style after participating in the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money 777 in 2018.  The translation to AOMG's post on X reads... "Hello, this is AOMG. We would like to inform you that Coogie's exclusive contract has ended on January 23, 2025. South Korean R&B singer Crush will be hitting the stage in North America. The artist announced his [Wonderlost] "CRUSH ON YOU TOUR" on Oct. 1. Jay Park to drop new R&B album in October

Singer Jay Park has announced on social media his plans to release a new R&B album next month. The Seattle to Seoul artist says the project will be out on October 8th, his first in eight years. His previous R&B album "Everything You Wanted" dropped on October 20, 2016. On his recent social media post, Park also joked about deleting his Instagram Account and said there will be a tour in 2025. He deleted his previous IG account in 2022.
