BTS 'THE WINGS TOUR' CHICAGO TICKETS

If you missed out on ticket sales to see BTS (Bangtan Boys) in concert in Newark and Anaheim, here's a reminder for you. Tickets for their stop in Chicago (on March 29th) go on sale this Friday, January 6, 2017.

BTS is the hottest kpop group around. The South Korean boy group (Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V, Jungkook) formed by Big Hit Entertainment, debuted on June 13, 2013, with the song "No More Dream" from their first album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. And since then they have been topping charts, and blowing fans away with their hip-hop and pop music and powerful dance moves.

This is the second time the group will tour the U.S. Powerhouse Live is responsible for bringing them here this time.  Tickets go on sale Friday at 4 p.m., CDT.  More than likely they'll go fast. Tickets for the stop in Newark sold out in minutes, and Powerhouse added a second day, which also sold out. For more information, check out the website for Powerhouse here.

 



Until Friday, check out this intoxicating performance of BTS' cover of Rain's Rainism at the MBC Gayo Daejejeon. This is probably the best cover of the song, better than GOT7's, and even 2PM's.

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Rapper Jessi is back with another single under P NATION (the South Korean record label founded by Psy). This time around, Jessi has global star Jay Park on the track and visual. Jessi released their collaboration - "Drip" on November 1st, and straight out the gate, she comes out swinging with swag, and singing, that she's not "going anywhere." Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

On Sept. 10, he revealed that the actress portraying ECÂF in the music video and on Twitter, is named Tatiana. Delivering that West Coast rewind with 80s G-funk beats, Seattle rapper/producer Anthony Danza has dropped his latest project (out now on Spotify and Amazon music). The Black Umbrella/Proof Avenue artist released "The BBS Diaries" on May 26, with a visual for one of its tracks, "At All Costs," pre-released on YouTube on May 24. Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Jay Park also currently has his own music audition competition show airing on MBN, in South Korea called SignHere . The show's goal is to find the next member of his first label - AOMG.
