BLNK drops A Funky Second Album - "FLAME" with a Visual for his Track "Love Is"

South Korean rapper BLNK has released his second album. The Legit Goons artist dropped his 13-track LP- "FLAME," on March 5th. The album features groovy, funky and jazzy beats under melodic vocals with references and vibes of old school hip-hop (reminiscent of OutKast at times).

It gets an assist from established South Korean rappers - Nafla, Changmo, Chaboom, Nucksal, Yumdda, Simon Dominic and Paloalto. The release also includes a visual for the track "Love Is." Check it out below.

New Michael Jackson Tribute Video from Jason Derulo, LAY & NCT 127 - "Let's Shut Up and Dance"

In a video dedicated to Michael Jackson, American singer Jason Derulo teamed up with South Korean SM Entertainment kpop idols-- NCT 127 and LAY (from kpop group EXO). The collaboration for "Let's Shut Up and Dance" hit YouTube on February 21st, and the single hit music streaming sites on the 22nd. The song is the first single off a four-track EP titled "The Greatest Dancer," dedicated to the late King of Pop. According to the The Korea Times , the mini-album will be released on June 25, which marks the 10th anniversary of Jackson's death. The new music video from Jason Derulo, LAY and NCT 127 shows the global stars dancing Michael Jackson signature moves, as they sing shout-outs to women from around the world. Saul Goode of Part Time Cooks Drops Groovy Debut Solo Project- “Blue, an album by Ryan”

Ringing in the New Year with a solo release, rapper Saul Goode, of Part Time Cooks, dropped his debut solo album-- “Blue, an album by Ryan" on January 1. The lead single from the project-- "Juju," hit streaming sites with an official music video on YouTube. The song features MBA crew member Bola, his fellow collaborator on AOMG's 2019  SignHere audition TV show. With the album, Goode brings a funky-groovy retrospective vibe, as he reminisces on the past and contemplates his current state. Check out “Blue, an album by Ryan” below.

New Video Drop: Kobel's new Visual for breakup song "나는 아직도" featuring Michelle Nam

South Korean rising singer/rapper Kobel, has just dropped a new visual on YouTube. The title "나는 아직도" is in Korean, and Google translates it to "I still." The song, in Korean and English, has a slow tempo beat, as Kobel and Michelle Nam sing "say it ain't so," about breaking up and letting go. The young artist uploaded the track to SoundCloud eight months ago. The video, directed by Choi Jong Hyun and Jung Tae Whang, was shot at Soyouhwa Flower Shop & Cafe and was released on August 6th. Kobel is relatively new to the music scene. He dropped his debut music video back on June 2nd, for the track "Don't Hit My Line."   On July 27, he posted on Instagram, that he's become a member of Poison Holyc-- "a crew with all kinds of dope artists" who will be making music "in all kinds of genres." South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022.  He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. He became known for his sing-song melodic rap style after participating in the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money 777 in 2018.  The translation to AOMG's post on X reads... "Hello, this is AOMG. We would like to inform you that Coogie's exclusive contract has ended on January 23, 2025. Jay Park to drop new R&B album in October

Singer Jay Park has announced on social media his plans to release a new R&B album next month. The Seattle to Seoul artist says the project will be out on October 8th, his first in eight years. His previous R&B album "Everything You Wanted" dropped on October 20, 2016. On his recent social media post, Park also joked about deleting his Instagram Account and said there will be a tour in 2025. He deleted his previous IG account in 2022. Kpop group ENHYPEN earns new fans with American television "Loose" debut performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live

On the night of Thursday, April 10, South Korean boy band ENHYPEN hit the stage on ABC's  Jimmy Kimmel Live with body rolls and screaming young kpop fans in the studio audience, as they performed their new English language single "Loose," for their American television debut. The performance left an impression on the television viewing audience across the country, with at least one viewer calling into an ABC local news station in Kentucky well after midnight, inquiring about the name of the group.  The excited viewer asked the morning show news producer who picked up the phone, questions about where to find information about ENHYPEN, and where exactly the group was from.  After the producer explained the kpop genre to the viewer, and shared information on how to find the performance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube channel, the caller then encouraged the producer to watch the performance herself, in which she later did, thus becoming a new fan of the group as well. ...

The South Korean hip-hop/R&B label released several collaboration mini-albums and singles (including the popular "IGOHOLIC" ), as well as individual debut EPs from its artists.
