NOW LISTENING TO: Jay Park's “Everything You Wanted”

Korean-American hip-hop and R&B artist Jay Park, dropped his 4th full album "Everything You Wanted," online on October 19. It includes 19 songs, including "Feature," a sexy bedroom talk track featuring the seductive voice of AOMG producer and long time friend Cha Cha Malone. Jay Park sings on it "this is going to be your favorite song," and it just might be.

The album shows Park's vocal range as an R&B artist, and is easy listening for anyone in love, or who wants to be loved, but might make those who are lonely, feel heart-broken.

Park also released the official music video for “Drive,” a track on the album, with producer Gray, which stars Bora from Sistar, and looks like it was shot from a resort location. "Drive" is a great date pick me up, for Korean listeners. The album itself has songs in English and Korean, including some that had been released earlier this year or late last year, like "2nd Thots," "All I Wanna Do" and "Solo."

Jay Park, the Co-CEO of AOMG is originally from Seattle, Washington. His new album will be available in hard copy on October 25th. You can buy the digital album on iTunes now.

Rapper Shotta Spence Shares his Mother's Story

Shotta Spence, the 21-year-old up and coming rapper from New Jersey, shared part of his mother's journey from Vietnam, on Instagram, on Monday, September 4, as he wished her a Happy Birthday, and thanked her for supporting him as an artist. In his post, Shotta Spence (Spence Lee) wrote that when his mother was a little girl in Vietnam, "the communist North had taken everything from her family. During the war, her parents and siblings had to escape further south in a TANK. The South Vietnamese and the Americans were losing the war, and she got separated from her family in the chaos. Saudi Rapper Leesa Returns with a Sweet Café Flow

Rapper Leesa made headlines around the world, back in June, when she dropped a hip-hop video celebrating the end of a ban on female drivers in Saudi Arabia. Well now she's back with a sweet video promoting Ewan Café in the country. And although the video (which hit YouTube on November 15), advertises an establishment, that from the visual, seems to offer delicious desserts and coffees, it also highlights the skill Leesa has when it comes to spitting rhymes. Jay Park Dropping Remix of "Birthday"

The original was already a nice feel good song, but now Jay Park is teasing on his Instagram Story, a remix of the track "Birthday." "Birthday" aired originally on SMTM6, episode 3 with Ja Mezz, Jay Park and Dok2 in August, 2017. On his Instagram Story on Nov. 28, Park writes that the remix is coming soon. Drawing from his church upbringing (his father was a pastor), London singer Samm Henshaw, has released a gospel chorus influenced track titled "Doubt," featuring Wretch 32. The single hit streaming sites with an official music video uploaded to YouTube on October 4. It includes cartoon animated versions of Henshaw and Wretch 32, delivering soulful epiphanic lyrics... Coachella 2020 Lineup Includes South Korean kpop group BIGBANG & Epik High

Coachella announced its full 2020 lineup on Jan. 3. Headlining are Rage Against the Machine, Frank Ocean and Travis Scott. Two groups from South Korea will also perform during the two-weekend music festival in April-- BIGBANG and Epik High. Epik High also performed at the festival in 2016. This is the first announced performance for BIGBANG, since its members enlisted in South Korea's military, and since the controversial departure of former member Seungri. The singer left the group due to a criminal investigation against him. BIGBANG is one of the most influential kpop acts to come out of South Korea. Its current members: G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P and Daesung last performed in the United States back in 2015, during their Made World Tour. The tour listed on Pollstar's year end list. SONG of The Week: EXO - "Ya Ya Ya" - with a sample from SWV- “You’re the One”

It's that 90s sample that makes the song. On November 27, Kpop group EXO released their sixth album titled "OBSESSION." On it, the track "Ya Ya Ya," which samples American R&B trio-- SWV, and their 1996 hit-- “You’re the One.” The new song from EXO, "Ya Ya Ya," was co-produced by Dem Jointz, who’s previously worked with Dr. Dre, Anderson .Paak and ScHoolboy Q, according to Genius.com. The vocals on the song include the current six active members of the group... Sehun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai, Baekhyun, and Suho. NEW R&B: Oceanfromtheblue - "PAPARAZZI"

South Korean singer Oceanfromtheblue released the official live lyric video to his soulful R&B track "PAPARAZZI" on January 30. In the visual, the artist mesmerizes with a wide vocal range, which includes high and low notes riding on smooth melodies, as he sings about taking pictures of his love interest. The single is off his 10-track "khaki" album which hit music streaming sites on January 9. Check it out above and below.

New Music: Lil Boi - "David" with just the right Old School Feels

Mixing up the hip-hop beats with old school R&B, South Korean rapper Lil Boi returned for a two-track single release on December 7th, titled "David." Lil Boi, a member of the duo Geeks, is managed under Grandline Entertainment. His new release consist of the tracks, "Go" and "David," (featuring Kim E-Z), which the latter track begins with a piano melody on love, but then switches the beat for a bounce flow. According to the agency, "David" is a prologue to the rapper's upcoming first full-length album; "Meantime," but the track "Go" will not be on it. Many Show Me The Money fans may remember Lil Boi from season four in 2015, as a contestant with team AOMG, with Jay Park and Loco as producers/judges and Geegooin, Sik-K and David Kim as team members.
