With eleven scheduled stops, it will kick off July 7 in Vancouver and end July 24 in Seattle. China Mac Announces Rap Challenge after Dropping New Single "H.E.R" prod. by Little Vic

After previously pulling his music catalog from streaming sites, rapper China Mac is back on Spotify and Apple Music with a new single about hip-hop. The Brooklyn, New York artist, who's also the host of Mac Eats on YouTube, dropped his Little Vic produced song "H.E.R" on September 7.  After the release of "H.E.R," China Mac asked fans to join him in a rap challenge in creating their own lyrics to the beat of the track. YUGYEOM Shows Off his Dance Moves after Signing to Jay Park's label AOMG

It's official, GOT7's Kim Yugyeom is the latest artist to sign to Jay Park's first label AOMG. The announcement was made at midnight, KST, on February 19. As the newest member of the hip-hop and R&B label, YUGYEOM joins veteran singers, rappers and producers such as Loco, Gray, Simon Dominic, Hoody and Code Kunst, as well as newer artists Woo Won-jae, Sogumm, Punchnello, DeVita and Lee Hi. Jay Park founded AOMG in 2013. YUGYEOM's move to AOMG follows his departure from JYP Entertainment. He and his fellow GOT7 boy band members, who debuted in 2014, left JYP in January, after their contract with the entertainment company expired. YUGYEOM is now the second artist to leave JYP to work under Jay Park. Singer G.Soul left the company in 2017 to sign with Park's second label H1GHR MUSIC. YUMDDA's "Breathe 3," The First Project for New South Korean Hip-Hop Label Daytona Entertainment with The Quiett

Just days after announcing the formation of Daytona Entertainment with The Quiett, rapper Yumdda dropped the first project under the new label titled "Breathe 3." The album is part three of his "Breathe" album series, which began with part one in 2016 and part two in 2019. The new music vibes with the melodic flow that the South Korean artist is known for. It hit streaming sites on November 28, with a visual for the track "Hanadoo" featuring R&B singer Zion.T.  Yumdda and The Quiett introduced their Daytona Entertainment label two weeks after The Quiett dropped the final music for the now defunct (but still legendary) 1llionaire Records, the label he co-founded with Dok2 in 2011. The Quiett's double single project, "BENTLEY 2," featuring Yumdda, hit streaming sites on November 11. The announcement of their new label rolled out on November 25. Hip-Hop Fans Fall for MINO Again After New Album Drop - "TAKE"

South Korean rapper MINO first got on the radar for many hip-hop fans during the fourth season of rap competition series  Show Me The Money in 2015, when he proved himself as being more than just an idol artist. Song Min-ho is the main rapper for the k-pop group WINNER, and he earned respect in the rap game, after securing a place with Team ZiPal under rappers Zico and Paloalto, along with Ja Mezz, AndUp and One on SMTM4 . During the show he even managed to impress Snoop Dogg during a Cypher Mission round. MINO made it to the finals with his skills on the mic, and finished the series as the runner up. Several songs and performances from the show became huge hits for him, including the catchy and fun "Okey Dokey," with ZICO, and "Fear" featuring Taeyang from BIGBANG.  But it wasn't just MINO 's lyricism and flow, it was also his style, confidence, swagger and rhythmicality, which earned him recognition and admiration. South Korean Hip-Hop label Hi-Lite Records Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Compilation Album “Legacy”

It's been ten years since South Korean rapper Paloalto founded hip-hop label Hi-Lite Records. During the decade of its rise, the label signed a number of talented popular rappers who have come and gone. Former artists include Keith Ape, B-Free, Okasian, Evo, GLV and G2.  Current artists with Hi-Lite include Reddy, YunB, Swervy, Pinodyne (Huckleberry P & Soul Fish) and others. In 2015, a partnership with entertainment company CJ E&M was announced to help with global marketing.  Now, to celebrate ten years of going strong, the label has released its tenth anniversary compilation album titled “Legacy.” The project dropped on streaming sites on August 16, with an official music video for the pop-rock track "Kid Rock," featuring Paloalto, jerd, Reddy and Soovi.   The song is a departure from what fans are used to, and it's even a departure from most of the other songs on the new album. Hip-Hop from Japan: DJ HASEBE - "Midnight Dreamin" feat. SALU & SIRUP MV

Throwing out beats from Japan, DJ HASEBE released the visual for his new single - "Midnight Dreamin," on February 26 on YouTube. It features the melodic vocals and flow of rapper SALU and singer SIRUP. The jazzy hip-hop track can also be found on DJ HASEBE's Tokyo Neo 90s Groove playlist on Spotify. Song of the Day: Yayoi Daimon - 「ヒールで仁王立ち」 ("Heel de Nioudachi")

On Instagram, Yayoi Daimon describes herself as a Japanese feminist. The rapper/singer-songwriter/DJ released her single「ヒールで仁王立ち」("Heel de Nioudachi") back on August 8th of last year. She dropped her fierce official music video for it, on September 12th. With a quick flow, and strong bass-- the lyrics, all in Japanese- focus on female empowerment; fiercely interpreted in the visual. NEW MUSIC: Ja Mezz is inspired by 'The Pink Panther' in new MV - "Pink is the New Black" (feat. SALU)

Move over orange, pink is now the new black. South Korean rapper Ja Mezz, from Grandline Entertainment, dropped a fun and colorful visual on November 14th, to go with his new trilingual (English, Korean and Japanese) track; "Pink is the New Black," featuring Japanese rapper SALU. The music video begins with a piano sample of The Pink Panther theme song, and then shows Ja Mezz with pink dreads, as the private detective, who spits braggadocious lyrics about fashion and trends, but also touches on politics. NEW MUSIC: St. Louis rapper Smino brings his own style - in sophomore album - "NOIR"

by Nefertiti Jenkins  St. Louis rapper/singer Smino is one of a kind. The artist has a unique sound that stands out from a crowd of where just about every other rapper, from around the world sounds the same. Smino, combines hip-hop with funk and soul, much like André 3000, from hip-hop duo Outkast, but spins the influence to include mumble rap. Sometimes you don't understand what he's saying on his tracks, but you still feel the vibe of his music. On November 8th, Smino dropped his sophomore album, "NOIR," bringing all of the above elements together (and more), in a full length project, which includes the previously released guitar jingling single of "KLINK" and the track "L.M.F," with all of its Lion King references. The LP follows the 2017 release of his debut album "blkswn." Listen to his new music below.

NEW MUSIC: Kris Wu drops debut album - "Antares"

The long-awaited solo debut studio album from Chinese-Canadian hip-hop artist Kris Wu is finally here, and it delivers. "Antares" dropped on November 2nd on streaming sites. The 14-track project includes pre-releases featuring American artists Rich The Kid, Jhené Aiko and Travis Scott. The sound on the album goes from trap to melodic rap. Once a member of boy band EXO, the entertainer has come a long way from his days of kpop. They are long behind him. This is Hip-Hop, and Kris Wu is making his mark on it. KPOP group NCT 127 mix Hip-Hop and Latin beats in new English track and MV - "Regular"

by Nefertiti Jenkins Rapping and singing in English, kpop group NCT 127, has just released a hard-hitting visual for their hip-hop Latin fused track "Regular." The official music video dropped on October 8, as a pre-release off their first full-length album "Regular-Irregular," due out on October 12th (which will include a Korean version of "Regular"). NCT 127 (a sub-unit of SM Entertainment's NCT) is currently promoting in Los Angeles (as Apple Music's "Up Next" artists), and before the new video dropped on YouTube, the South Korean boy band premiered the English version of their new song on Apple Music's  Beats 1 Radio program with Zane Lowe, where they also FaceTimed with DJ Khaled about a possible collaboration. New Video Drop: B5 returns with official MV for - "DO THAT"

The Breeding brothers known as B5, are back with a new video for their latest R&B track - "DO THAT." It's their first song together in five years, and is the first release off their upcoming EP, due out later this year. The artists are originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, but have relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. They've been making music as a family with various name changes, on and off since 1998, when they were kids. As teenagers, they released their self-titled debut album in 2005. Their new MV, "DO THAT," dropped on Oct. 1 on YouTube. The Produtora Frame directed visual shows Dustin, Kelly, Patrick, Carnell and Bryan surrounded by beautiful women. NEW VIDEO DROP: Higher Brothers & BlocBoy JB - "Let It Go" (Official MV)

The song "Let It Go," from 88rising's Higher Brothers and American rapper BlocBoy JB, has been blowing up since it was initially released on June 26. Now, the official music video for the single is here. Dropped on July 10, it shows just how well it's been received, by featuring clips of people from around the world dancing to the track's flow. South Korean Hip-Hop Artist Sik-K Nominated for BET Award

Known for his trap swag, rapper Sik-K from South Korea, is nominated for a 2018 BET Award. The category-- Viewers' Choice: Best New International Act. Fans can vote through June 19, on the BET website,  and also on Instagram with the hashtag #IPICKSIKK18. The BET Awards Show will be held on June 24, in Los Angeles, CA. The BET International Awards can be viewed in the UK, Ireland and Africa on June 26. Sik-K is with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC, and is one of the artists featured on the viral track, "EUNG FREESTYLE," which was tweeted out by model superstar Tyra Banks, in September of 2016.   Rapper/Singer pH-1, is sharing what not to do, if you know someone who's gotten famous. On May 31, the H1GHR MUSIC artist uploaded a demo song to SoundCloud called "Fell in Love." NEW MUSIC DROP: Jarv Dee "Foreign Xchange" feat. Sik-K

Back in March (of 2018), Seattle rapper Jarv Dee , shared video on Instagram from a club in South Korea, where he was rocking the mic to his hit song "Smoke 2 Much," (from The Red Eye Jedi album). Korean fans at the joint seemed to love it, as they got hyped to his hip-hop vibe. Jarv Dee (who is also a part of Seattle's music crew Moor Gang), was in South Korea, spending time with his H1GHR MUSIC label mates, and tagging several of them on Instagram, including trap artist Sik-K.  Since then, he's hit the stage at South by Southwest (in Austin, TX) and traveled across the U.S. on tour with H1GHR MUSIC .  And now that that's a wrap, he's dropping new music. "Foreign Xchange" featuring Sik-K (and produced by PHYNXXX), was released on May 30th. Rapper Flowsik Shoots Music Video In Harlem

New York City rapper Flowsik is back at it again. This time he's hitting the streets of Harlem for a music video shoot. On Saturday, May 26, the East Coast artist known for his guttural flow, invited fans on Twitter to a video shoot on Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, NY, at 3 p.m. He wrote that it was "gonna be a movie." The next day, the Korean-American fresh off his double release collaboration with rapper/singer Jessi, shared videos on Instagram of the action that had taken place, which included a scene of Flowsik in the street with bikers circling him, and then a clip of police on the set. Responding to fans in the comments section, he says officers showed up just to make sure everything was okay. He also says the shoot was for a music video (in the comments).
