YO! MTV Raps Asia returning on April 15 with performances from South Korean Hip-Hop Artists and more

After last year's pilot special episode, Yo! MTV Raps Asia returns on Monday, April 15 with the premiere of a full season on MTV Asia (based in Singapore). This year, expect performances by South Korean AOMG rapper Woo Won-jae and South Korean AOMG producer/singer/rapper GRAY, as well as a cypher line-up with Dough Boy, Al Rocco (from Shanghai, China.), YunB (from South Korean Hi-Lite Records) and Benzooloo. The show will also check in with Korean-American hip-hop artist/mogul Jay Park. Singaporean rapper Yung Raja and Vietnamese-American Los Angeles-based DJ-producer and model Kim Lee, will host the program for its first full season. Al Rocco and Jackson Wang Release Official Music Video for their track - "Bruce Lee"

According to online reports, martial arts icon Bruce Lee, died on July 20, 1973. He was only 32-years-old. On July 21, 2018, forty-five years later, one day after the anniversary of his death, two rappers from China, Al Rocco and Jackson Wang, drop a music video of their track, titled after the legendary fighter. Wang, currently on tour with his kpop group GOT7, raps in English. Al Rocco spits bars in both Chinese and English. The single dropped the week before on July 14. The music video follows a teen who's been bullied, but learns kung fu with the help of Rocco. Rocco and Wang say their track "expresses the strength of the Chinese people." The song and visual pay tribute to Bruce Lee, and are also a reminder of the global impact of the Chinese Culture and Martial Arts. Check out the video now for "Bruce Lee" below.

Jackson Wang Inspired by "Bruce Lee" on New Collab with Al Rocco

Jackson Wang is on a World Tour right now with his kpop idol group GOT7, but the rapper still found time to collaborate with fellow Chinese rapper  Al Rocco , on a track titled "Bruce Lee." The single dropped on July 14, and begins with an audio recording of the martial arts legend, Bruce Lee, as an intro to the song. Produced by Fader One, according to the description released for it, the song "expresses the strength of the Chinese people through the power of music and kung fu." Lyrics with Wang include... Pull a stunt like Bruce Lee. Spit venom on the verse don’t try me.  Everyday stay low key. Throw a jab so fast won’t see me. According to Al Rocco on Instagram, the music video for the track will drop on July 22nd. You can find the single now on streaming platforms. Listen to it below.
