YO! MTV Raps Asia returning on April 15 with performances from South Korean Hip-Hop Artists and more
After last year's pilot special episode, Yo! MTV Raps Asia returns on Monday, April 15 with the premiere of a full season on MTV Asia (based in Singapore). This year, expect performances by South Korean AOMG rapper Woo Won-jae and South Korean AOMG producer/singer/rapper GRAY, as well as a cypher line-up with Dough Boy, Al Rocco (from Shanghai, China.), YunB (from South Korean Hi-Lite Records) and Benzooloo. The show will also check in with Korean-American hip-hop artist/mogul Jay Park. Singaporean rapper Yung Raja and Vietnamese-American Los Angeles-based DJ-producer and model Kim Lee, will host the program for its first full season. "Hip-hop is all about 'the culture'," said Lee, "and I can't wait to be part of a show that will showcase the true expression of the Asian experience of hip-hop."
