Jay Park to drop new R&B album in October

Singer Jay Park has announced on social media his plans to release a new R&B album next month. The Seattle to Seoul artist says the project will be out on October 8th, his first in eight years. His previous R&B album "Everything You Wanted" dropped on October 20, 2016. On his recent social media post, Park also joked about deleting his Instagram Account and said there will be a tour in 2025. He deleted his previous IG account in 2022. Seattle rapper Jarv Dee has teamed up with producer Bad Colours for a new "house music project" titled "Feelin' Like." The two dropped their new single on January 29. Check it out below.

Jay Park links up with Jay Loud for New Single and Visual - "Dior Socks"

Global megastar Jay Park teams up with up-and-coming fellow Seattle artist Jay Loud for a new single with a flashy visual, titled "Dior Socks." The new track hit streaming sites with the official music video on YouTube on October 7.  Park, who says he was wearing Dior socks when he recorded the song, is the CEO of two South Korean based hip-hop labels-- AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC. He was born and raised near Seattle, Washington. Meanwhile, Jay Loud is new to the Seattle area, after moving there from Indianapolis, Indiana. Loud dropped his debut album "Nap Town" in 2019. Seattle Native JaWaan LaRue Drops "King County" Album

Conscious Mind Records rapper JaWaan LaRue is back with his latest project. The Seattle native released his new album "King County" on June 25. The drop follows the release of his single "Nat Turner," featuring Silas Blak on June 8. According to his profile, LaRue was born in Seattle to a single mother in the Holly Park Projects, and growing up, was influenced by West Coast culture and gangster rap music of the ’90s. He moved to Orlando in 2011, where he attended Full Sail University and signed with Orlando based Conscious Mind Records. Check out his new music below. Seattle alt-R&B: Chase Henny & Cha Cha Malone Collab on New Single - "Selfish"

Seattle producer and recording artist Cha Cha Malone links up with fellow Washington artist Chase Henny, in a new soul-trap, alt-R&B single titled "Selfish." The March drop follows Malone's February double single release-- "All Eyes On You," which includes his track "Right Now," with singer/rapper Jay Park. Seattle rapper Fazt works with AOMG producer GRAY for new single - "Blood Roses"

Seattle rapper Fazt is telling his story of street life and the loss of loved ones, in a new single titled "Blood Roses." The track hit streaming sites on December 3rd. It was produced by AOMG South Korean producer GRAY. On Instagram, Fazt thanked AOMG founder Jay Park, and Avatar Darko "for opening doors for Seattle music." Darko is a rapper signed to Park's second label H1GHR MUSIC, who is also from Seattle. Check out the new song below. AOMG Drops Tour Dates & Cities for North American leg of Jay Park's SEXY 4EVA WORLD TOUR - U.S. & Canada

As a response to requests from fans, AOMG announced the North America tour dates and cities for Jay Park's SEXY 4EVA WORLD TOUR on June 10th, with a caption on Instagram saying "North America, we heard you!" Jay Park will hit the stage in the following cities this fall... 11/04 (MON) LOS ANGELES 11/06 (WED) SAN FRANCISCO 11/08 (FRI) CALGARY 11/10 (SUN) VANCOUVER 11/12 (TUE) TORONTO 11/14 (THU) NEW YORK 11/16 (SAT) MIAMI 11/18 (MON) ATLANTA 11/20 (WED) DALLAS 11/22 (FRI) MINNEAPOLIS 11/24 (SUN) CHICAGO 11/27 (WED) HAWAII 12/01 (SUN) SEATTLE Park's European leg of the world tour begins in October. New Music Drop: Anthony Danza - "The BBS Diaries" with an "At All Costs" MV

Delivering that West Coast rewind with 80s G-funk beats, Seattle rapper/producer Anthony Danza has dropped his latest project (out now on Spotify and Amazon music). The Black Umbrella/Proof Avenue artist released "The BBS Diaries" on May 26, with a visual for one of its tracks, "At All Costs," pre-released on YouTube on May 24. The video shot by Steve Arsenio and edited by photographer Harry Clean. On Instagram, Danza reminds fans that another track from the project, “Rich Tonight” had sample clearance issues, but you can find it on SoundCloud. Check out the new music and music video below.

Seattle Hip-Hop Artist Gifted Gab drops new R&B single - "That Way" for her Birthday

For her birthday on February 21, Seattle rapper Gifted Gab shared a taste of what's to come off her forthcoming album, "Cause And Effect." She dropped her R&B single off it - "That Way." The song, a track which has Gifted Gab singing about a love that's not quite working out. According to her post on Instagram, her upcoming album will be released on April 20th. It's her sixth project. She captioned on Instagram, that the album is produced by Antwon Vinson, and will be "half rap, half R&B and absolutely no features." Gifted Gab recently teamed up with fellow Seattle artist (AOMG & H1GHR MUSIC co-CEO) Jay Park for a game of  Fear Pong . Seattle Rapper Raz Simone Shares Raw Emotions on new album - "Still Love"

A sense of melancholy from Raz Simone with his latest album - "Still Love." The Seattle rapper/singer dropped his 15-track project on January 15; exposing raw emotions and crooning with veracious melodic flow. Standouts on it include "Close Your Mouth Now" and "Two Big," featuring Sonyae Elise. Music videos for two of the tracks have premiered on WorldStarHipHop - "Hurting Painters" and "Forever Don't Last." The Black Umbrella and H1GHR MUSIC artist also previously released the track "Dancing With My Heart" from the album back in November. Check out the Apple Music preview below.

NEW VIDEO DROP: Jay Park - "Sexy 4 Eva" - A Compelling Focus on the people of Seattle

The JJ Augustavo directed video, with a theme of inclusiveness, spotlights the confidence of people from all walks of life-- age and backgrounds-- who feel "sexy forever." The compelling visual, produced by Adam Leeman, was shot (by MEGO LIN) in June. It also includes Park's Seattle crew (from H1GHR MUSIC and friends) including photographer Jordan Nicholson , singer Phe Reds , H1GHR MUSIC co-CEO (and producer of the track)  Cha Cha Malone , rappers Jarv Dee and Avatar Darko , and a cameo appearance from pop singer Eric Nam , who had a show in Seattle on June 10, as part of his Honestly North America Tour. NEW VIDEO DROP: Jay Park - Releases Official Music Video for "SOJU" ft. 2 Chainz

Bridging cultures with alcohol. Jay Park has released the official music video for his new single "SOJU," featuring Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz. The singer/rapper from Seattle and South Korea, uploaded the mv to his YouTube channel on June 14 (after it premiered first with The Fader ). Jay Park is signed with Roc Nation, and is co-CEO of two other labels (H1GHR MUSIC and AOMG). He first introduced the song to fans back in March at South by Southwest. The single then dropped on May 25th . The official music video starts with guys hanging outside a liquor store, and then follows Park as he purchases bottles of Soju inside. He joins 2 Chainz later, at a Korean restaurant. From pictures and videos released months ago, we know that the shoot for this took place someplace in or around Atlanta. NEW MUSIC DROP: Jarv Dee "Foreign Xchange" feat. Sik-K

Back in March (of 2018), Seattle rapper Jarv Dee , shared video on Instagram from a club in South Korea, where he was rocking the mic to his hit song "Smoke 2 Much," (from The Red Eye Jedi album). Korean fans at the joint seemed to love it, as they got hyped to his hip-hop vibe. Jarv Dee (who is also a part of Seattle's music crew Moor Gang), was in South Korea, spending time with his H1GHR MUSIC label mates, and tagging several of them on Instagram, including trap artist Sik-K.  Since then, he's hit the stage at South by Southwest (in Austin, TX) and traveled across the U.S. on tour with H1GHR MUSIC .  And now that that's a wrap, he's dropping new music. "Foreign Xchange" featuring Sik-K (and produced by PHYNXXX), was released on May 30th. New Music Drop: "ON THE ROAD" With H1GHR MUSIC

Fond memories of a good time with label mates, have inspired the latest track from H1GHR MUSIC artists. Titled "On The Road," the melodic hip-hop single (produced by BIG BANANA), comes to us from rappers/singers Sik-K, Woodie Gochild, pH-1 and Ted Park. The musicians were just four of the nine artists who hit the road together (from Seattle, WA, Madison, Wisconsin and South Korea), this spring for the first ever H1GHR MUSIC U.S. tour. The first stop was in Chicago, on April 26, and the last in Seattle on May 8th. "On The Road" dropped on May 28 on Apple Music/iTunes. You can find a link to it (and preview) below. H1GHR MUSIC Tour Recap - The Final Stop - With Jay Park In Seattle

A lot happened during the final stop of the 2018 H1GHR MUSIC tour. The Seattle, WA concert included performances of unreleased tracks, a b-boy dance break from AOM, a music video shoot in the middle of the venue, and a surprise appearance from label co-CEO Jay Park. It all went down at The Showbox on May 8th. The night started with DJ RocRyte pumping up the crowd for Ted Park, who hit the stage with melodic energy.  Woodie Gochild delivered next with "Let's Get It," -- dancing and spitting fire, even during Jay Park's verse.  Phe Reds followed, captivating everyone with a mesmerizing version of Blackstreet's "No Diggity" and his hit song "Smile."
