Now Listening To: Lucky Daye - "Painted" (Deluxe Edition)

R&B artist Lucky Daye dropped a new Deluxe Edition of his debut album "Painted" on May 29. The original LP hit streaming sites one year ago. The new album includes a reggae remix of "Roll Some Mo," featuring Chronixx and MediSun, as well as his new single - "Shoulda," featuring Babyface. Check it out below.

NEW MUSIC: Lucky Daye - "Buying Time"

Singer Lucky Daye is back with a new single. The soulful crooner dropped a mellow track on September 18, titled "Buying Time." Singing over an acoustic guitar, Daye's new song follows the release of his May debut album -"Painted." He dropped a visual for the track "Love You Too Much" off it, on September 12th.  Check out the new music above and below.  

NEW VIDEO DROP: Lucky Daye - "Real Games"

R&B soul singer Lucky Daye has returned with another visual for his debut album "Painted." The artist dropped the official music video for his track "Real Games" on June 18. The video includes a groove session on a tennis court, before it's taken indoors. Daye's 13-track album dropped back in May. It includes the song "Roll Some Mo," which was previously released as a single with a visual back in 2018.  Check out his new music video below. My debut album, Painted. Grooving with Lucky Daye's debut EP "I" and his breakout song - "Roll Some Mo"

by Nefertiti Jenkins With the groovy sounds of funk, mixed with old school R&B, LA-based soul singer Lucky Daye's visual for his track, "Roll Some Mo," off his debut EP "I," dropped back on November 9th. The hazy music video puts you in the mood to just chill. It was released along with his EP on music streaming sites through Keep Cool and RCA Records. This is the first official work for newcomer Lucky Daye and it's really good. The artist told online magazine  DJBOOTH , that he was inspired by The Gap Band, Stevie Wonder, Blackstreet, Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo, Prince, Michael Jackson and Rick James. And you hear that on his tracks, with the addition of the influence of R&B Trapsoul singer Bryson Tiller. Although focused on his career in music now, Daye's upbringing is a lot different than most. According to his interview with DJBOOTH, Daye grew up in a cult with his Mom in New Orleans... and I got out of there at around eight years old....
