Song of The Day: Sway D - "G-Shock"

Sometimes the little things in life, can make everything right in the world, especially if it's a gift from a parent. Sway D from Hi-Lite records, recently dropped his latest single "G-Shock".  At first glance, it seems to be a promotion for a South Korean jewelry/watch company.  But after viewing the video for the track on YouTube, you discover the song, is a whole lot more, and the video offers a feeling of nostalgia, as Sway D gives us a song of reflection from his car. The opening scenes show us a cute little boy walking with his mother, with a new G-Shock watch in a box. The little boy seems so happy and cherishes the gift long after he gets home. And it seems with the watch, the child is invincible and ready to conquer the world. Later we see Sway D rapping about how blessed his life is. You'll have to watch the video to see what happens next. The song has a nice beat and flow in Korean, and leaves you feeling good after watching the visual (even if it wa...

Them AOMG Boyz -- Gray Covers Ed Sheeran & Loco drops new EP

A post shared by GRAY (@callmegray) on Aug 19, 2017 at 9:04pm PDT Who knew that producer Gray from AOMG could sing, like really sing, well enough to do a great cover of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You." In a recent episode of South Korean's KBS' "Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook," Gray sits next to Loco, with DJ Pumkin in the back, as Loco raps about food, but then the camera focuses on Gray who sweetly sings "Shape of You," as if he wrote the song himself. Gray, known as one of the quiet ones in the AOMG music label crew, isn't known for speaking English, but in this cover, he pronounces the words of the song perfectly. Also during this episode of "Sketchbook," Gray and Loco perform "Good" with fellow label mate ELO. Gray and Loco also perform "Summer Go Loco," the title track from Loco's new EP, which just dropped days ago on August 18. The four track album is a great deal too, co...

Track Drop: B-Free and his Final Destination

He's controversial like Kanye, but when you listen to his music, it's real and speaks of the hardships and truths of his own life story and the people around him. Korean rapper B-Free has just dropped a new single, called "Final Destination." It's in Korean and English, like a lot of his music. It's intense, but it's good, especially if you need something to listen to, to get hyped. It also sounds like it would be perfect on a "Fast and Furious" movie soundtrack. Racing, racing, racing to my final destination.... Feel like nobody can stop me..... Yeah I been grinding the whole week. Yeah I been grinding the whole year. Yeah I been grinding my whole life..... All about was my dollars, Now getting nothing but dollars. We ain't got nothing in common.... Feel like I'm on auto pilot.... On my mother fuckin high horse.... SONG OF THE DAY: San E "Counselor" (카운셀러)

If you feel like you're about to go over the edge of sanity, then you might be able to relate to Korean rapper San E, and his new music video, "Counselor." The video appears to be an inside look at the psychological demons he might be facing, including thoughts of self doubt, drugs and alcohol. He also shows us recorded counseling sessions, which may or may not be helping. Regardless of his level of crazy in this video, he's still spitting fire. Check it out...
