For her 29th birthday, on August 1st, pop singer Tiffany Young dropped the official music video for her U.S. debut single "Over My Skin." The track originally hit online platforms back on June 28th. The new video, has Young in character as "Professor T" of the Young Pop Academy, as she takes the mic in-between lessons. The Girls' Generation member is currently with label Transparent Arts, after spending more than a decade with South Korean entertainment agency S.M. Entertainment. American singer, Tiffany Young, from kpop group Girls' Generation, has officially made her solo U.S. debut, with the release of her new single "Over My Skin." The California native dropped the audio for the sultry upbeat tempo track on June 28. Produced by Far East Movement and Khwezi, for the Transparent Arts label, the lyrics for the first verse include... I got this vision in my mind. You got me sinning with desire. You got my heart on double time. And I'm not putting out my fire. In the single, you can hear heavy influences of other American producers/artists like Timbaland and Pharrell. In a Rolling Stone interview, Young indicates that their sound is part of her goal... I was thinking more about how can I bring what I am as a K-Pop artist, but also bring in the elements of pop that I love and grew up with – that Pharrell, Britney, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland era.
