BTS singer Jung Kook teams up with Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow for new single "3D"

Singer Jung Kook is back with another high-profile collaboration. The artist is a member of the Korean boy band BTS. He dropped his newest single "3D," featuring Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow, on September 29.  This is the first joint venture between Jung Kook and Jack Harlow. It follows Jung Kook's collaboration with Latto for his song "Seven," which dropped on July 14. It also follows Harlow's release of his April 2023 album "Jackman," and the announcement of his upcoming "No Place Like Home" tour.  In the song "3D," Harlow promises to fly someone from "Korea to Kentucky." South Korean rapper The Quiett rides out in a Bentley in final 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS release - "BENTLEY 2"

With his laid-back 90s rap flow and braggadocious lyrics, rapper The Quiett is one of the smoothest artists in hip-hop. He is also the co-founder, with rapper Dok2, of one of the most influential record companies in South Korea. Both are part of a group of legends responsible for putting South Korean hip-hop on the map. Their label - 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS, was established in January 2011. They added rapper Beenzino later that year. In 2016, the two established a second label, of younger up-and-coming artists called Ambition Musik. The co-CEOs also toured the United States in 2016, and in 2017, putting on great high energy performances. INLet'sGo! caught their 2016 stop in Atlanta.  On November 11, 2020, The Quiett dropped his last double single under 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS, marking the last 1LLIONAIRE DAY (of new music drops), and the final project for the company. Dok2 parted ways with the label in February, and in July, the company announced it was shutting down....

Rapper San E takes a jab at South Korean Hip-Hop industry in new music video - "Wannabe Rapper"- inspired by Childish Gambino's - "This Is America"

He even calls out the popular rap competition series Show Me The Money, in which San E has been a producer/judge in past seasons. The video hit YouTube on October 10. According to the artist, it was inspired by American rapper Childish Gambino's "This Is America" video, which addresses gun violence, racism and discrimination against African-Americans in the United States. San E uses the voices of children, as a metaphor on the state of hip-hop, to show that the genre is still in its youth in South Korea. In San E's track and MV, he calls out entertainers who become rappers for material gain and fame. He also focuses on social issues like suicide and female interaction/feminism. Female Rapper Celebrates Driving in Saudi Arabia - with a Hip-Hop Video

by Nefertiti Jenkins Leesa A is a hip-hop artist in Saudi Arabia, and she's celebrating the fact, that she can now legally drive a car in her home country. According to BBC News , the law officially changed on June 24, ending the decades-old ban, in which women in Saudi Arabia could not drive, and "families had to hire private chauffeurs for female relatives." The change was announced last September, and the first licenses were issued earlier this month, according to the BBC. Soon after the ban was lifted, Leesa uploaded a rap video to Instagram and YouTube, showing the young woman, behind the wheel of a car spitting bars. The video has been shared extensively on social media, including by actress Jada Pinkett Smith, who also included the lyrics translated in English, under her caption for her post on Instagram. New Video Drop: from new KHip-Hop Artist - Kobel - "Don't Hit My Line" MV

A debut music video for a rising hip-hop star in Korea. Recording artist and producer (Johnny) Kobel, dropped his first mv on June 2nd. Called "Don't Hit My Line," Kobel writes on social media, that it was his first time acting in front of a camera during the shoot for it. The visual gives viewers a full view of the young singer /rapper as he delivers a message for a troubled love... Please don't hit my line, pretending that you're fine. I know that you been crying. I can see it in your eyes. During an Instagram Live recently, Kobel told fans that he was born in Belgium, studied in the U.S. for ten years, and lived in Chile for three years.
