South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022.  He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. He became known for his sing-song melodic rap style after participating in the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money 777 in 2018.  The translation to AOMG's post on X reads... "Hello, this is AOMG. We would like to inform you that Coogie's exclusive contract has ended on January 23, 2025. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the fans who have shown much support and interest in Coogie and his wonderful activities that have made AOMG shine for a long time. KHip-Hop Tours/Concerts Happening Soon in 2022

Fans of South Korean hip-hop will soon have a chance to see their favorite artists on stage. More than two years after the coronavirus pandemic put live in-person performances on hold, now with declining cases globally, artists are once again preparing to go on tour.  That includes Khip-hop rapper, Hi-Lite Records founder Paloalto, as well as AOMG artists YUGYEOM, Woo, Coogie, Sogumm, DeVita and DJ Wegun. In addition, Kpop mega stars BTS are also preparing for a mini- Las Vegas residency.  ( Part 2: Hip-hop and R&B Concerts/Tours Happening Soon in 2022 (summer, fall, winter) ) Rapper Paloalto kicks off the Khip-hop tour season. His U.S. tour begins March 10 in New York. South Korean Million Market rapper Coogie knows what direction he's headed in. The artist dropped his first album "UP!" on March 29. It includes the previously released intense single "North Face," featuring  Jvcki Wai. Roof Top releases "Ugly Face" MV with New Music - "UNFAIR"

Rappers Blase and Dive In Purple, from Roof Top (and Hive Crew), have just dropped a 3-track banger titled "UNFAIR." The duo from South Korea's SM Entertainment's hip-hop sub-label MILLION MARKET, released their new music produced by GXXD (Girlnexxtdoor) on June 23. It features artists Sik-K and Coogie. Also with the drop, a hot new visual for their track "Ugly Face." Check it out below.

New Music from South Korean rapper Coogie - Double Single release and MV "Hooligans"

Two new tracks from South Korean rapper Coogie. The MILLION MARKET-ATMseoul artist dropped his double single "Hooligans" with a visual on April 11. Produced by GXXD, the title track "Hooligans" is a trap mix featuring BILL STAX. The second song on the release is simply called "Title." But there's nothing simple about it. It includes a passionate flow from Coogie. Check out the new music below.

New Music: GXXD (Girlnexxtdoor) - "GXXD"

MILLION MARKET producer duo GXXD (Girlnexxtdoor) dropped their debut self-titled EP "GXXD," on January 5. The duo consists of South Korean producers; Vangdale and Seyoung. Their three track mini-project includes features with MOON, Sik-K, Coogie and Goopy on a mix of trap, jazz, R&B and other beats. NEW MUSIC: Coogie's second EP - "EMO #1"

South Korean rapper Coogie is in his feels with his second EP, "EMO #1." The artist (and former Show Me the Money 777 contestant) from Yelowsmob crew and label MILLION MARKET (with ATMseoul), dropped his latest mini album on December 7th. This follows his debut self-titled EP, which dropped on May 18, under ATMseoul, before the merger with MILLION MARKET. The new seven-track EP, includes the smooth vocals of international R&B/hip-hop singer/rapper Jay Park - featured on the song "Justin Bieber." The visual for it, was also uploaded on December 7th, under SM Entertainment's YouTube channel. MILLION MARKET now falls under the SM Entertainment umbrella group. SM is currently one of the largest entertainment companies in Korea. During an Instagram Live after the release, Coogie said he had a hard time naming the titles for his new music, and thus the name "Justin Bieber" for his track with Jay Park.
