Jay Park announced on Monday, May 21, that "SOJU" is dropping on Friday, May 25, at midnight. It's produced by H1GHR MUSIC's Woogie Park, and features rapper 2 Chainz. It'll be the first official release for Jay Park under Roc Nation. The singer/rapper  signed to (Jay-Z's) label in 2017, and premiered the song in March (of 2018) during South by Southwest (SXSW). Soju is an alcoholic beverage of choice in South Korea, and in a sit down interview, while drinking soju with W Korea Magazine , Jay Park said (per translation) that for his U.S. debut, he wants to "express Korean style and color." Young, talented and making moves. H1GHR MUSIC's newest signee Ted Park, is releasing new music soon. He's currently on tour with Los Angeles hip-hop artist Dumbfoundead , and soon will be joining his new label mates for a H1GHR MUSIC spring tour , kicking off on April 26th in Chicago. In the middle of all that, the rapper from Wisconsin has found time to work on new material. On social media, Ted Park says he's releasing new music on Monday, April 16 with The Cut studio. According to his posts, "Broke," (featuring rapper G2 from Hi-Lite Records) will be his first music video and single from his debut EP, which is sure to be a bop, like his melodic track, "Me Love."  Fans are excited to see Ted Park with H1GHR MUSIC.  The label's co-CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, welcomed Ted Park to their crew, with a chaining in March, in front of a hyped-up crowd, during the H1GHR MUSIC showcase at South by Southwest 2018 in Austin, TX. As the crew from H1GHR MUSIC Records prepare for their first U.S. tour, which kicks off in late April (with Siva Group Entertainment ), many fans, are eager to learn more about the artists from the label (that was established in early 2017). On YouTube right now, there are new sit-down interviews with four of the guys from H1GHR MUSIC, which were recorded before their sets at South by Southwest (SXSW) on March 17. On March 23,  Officially Kmusic   uploaded interviews with pH-1, Jarv Dee, Phe Reds and producer/co-CEO, Cha Cha Malone, onto its YouTube channel, and with the interviews we learn a few new things about the guys. Rapper/Singer pH-1, who has several recent hits under H1GHR MUSIC, talks about an upcoming album that he says "caters to the international fans." He says he use to be a web developer, and talked about playing piano and other instruments as a child. He also talks about his journey, for joining the label under Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone. ...

After two big performances, at South by Southwest (SXSW), in Austin, Texas, Khip-hop rapper Junoflo, is preparing to hit the stage once again for U.S. fans, this time, in New York. Junoflo announced on social media on March 22, that he will be live at NUBLU 151 on March 30. For fans who get to go, they are in for what's looking to be a really great hip-hop show. On March 5, CEOs of H1GHR MUSIC, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted a flyer on their social media accounts, of their label's showcase at SXSW (South by Southwest).  The showcase is happening on March 17, at 8 p.m. at The Main on E. 6th St. in Austin, TX. The two music trailblazers will co-host the special event. The lineup includes artists Phe Reds, Jarv Dee, Avatar Darko, pH-1, Ted Park, Raz Simone, DJ Pumkin and DJ Rocryte. Junoflo (from Feel Ghood Music) is listed as a special performer for the H1GHR MUSIC showcase (and according to the flyer, Jay Park will also have a special performance during that event). Back on February 10, the organization had posted the venue and date for the label, but then deleted the venue and date information later that day. We now know when DPR LIVE and Crush will hit the stage for SXSW (South by Southwest).  The flyer has been released for Korea Spotlight‬. It will take place on Friday, March 16 at The Belmont. Performing acts include: Lee Hi, KARD, CIFIKA, Hyukoh, DPR LIVE, Crush, & Say Sue Me.‬ Badges/Wristbands only. SXSW runs from March 9 -18 in Austin, TX.  

Most fans already know this, but Jay Park is one of the hardest working men in show business. Fans saw an example of his work ethic on January 20 & 21, during his two day 'All of Me,' solo concerts in South Korea. Saturday's vibe, "Everything You Wanted," was R&B,  and Sunday's "Worldwide," was for the rap and hip-hop crowd. A lot of his fans have uploaded clips on social media, showing Jay Park dancing and singing hard. The concert on the first day, opened with sexy moves for the song "Replay," and also included rare performances of older songs like "Star," and "So Good," and newer songs like "Forget About Tomorrow." South by Southwest has just announced 500 additional showcasing artists for their 2018 music festival, including a handful of popular hip-hop and R&B artists from South Korea.
