The latest visual from Canadian hip-hop artist NAV (a.k.a. Navraj Goraya) is out.  The official music video for "Champion," featuring trap artist Travis Scott dropped on August 9th, with a setting from Hawaii. The track is off Nav's debut album "Reckless," which hit streaming sites in May (NAV is also featured on Travis Scott's newly released "ASTROWORLD"). The 28-year-old from Toronto, Ontario, is of Indian Punjabi descent and is signed to XO, the Canadian record label founded by The Weeknd. After listening to his new album, it seems the melodic rapper has some firsthand experience of being "Reckless." Check out the new video for "Champion" down below. May is turning out to be a good month for music fans.  From hip-hop to kpop and jazz, there's a lot of new sounds to look forward to. Beginning with Jason Lee. The saxophonist / producer from 8Balltown's producer duo Wekeyz, is dropping his first solo album, which from the preview on Instagram sounds pretty jazzy. It's called "Sax In The City," and will be released on May 17. This comes after the May 7 Wekeyz (with Yunu) release of "Sugar," featuring Chloe DeVita and Ugly Duck. From kpop to global hip-hop. Former EXO member and actor, Kris Wu, has just signed a global record deal with Universal Music Group. According to UMG, under the agreement, future music will be released internationally, excluding Japan and Korea, through a partnership with Interscope Geffen A&M in the U.S., Island Records in the U.K. and Universal Music China, as well as UMG's operations in more than 60 countries. The 27-year-old was born in China, raised in Vancouver (Canada), and got his start in the entertainment world in South Korea, as part of the Korean-Chinese kpop group EXO, and its subgroup EXO-M under S.M. Entertainment. His style is melodic rap, and according to UMG, Kris is the only Chinese artist to reach No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes chart, with the release of the single "Deserve," featuring Travis Scott. Fresh off his latest release, rapper, model and actor, Kris Wu is scheduled to appear in Portland, OR at the WE 96.3 studio on Friday, December 1, at 2 p.m.(PST).  And if you can't be in the studio audience, you can catch all the action live via Skype. If you're sitting down, just go ahead and stand up and get ready to move, because once you see this full clip of Kris Wu's and Travis Scott's first live performance of their new single "Deserve," you won't be able to sit still. According to Wu's social media posts on October 13, the two took over New York City (at the Up&Down Club), during the release party for "DESERVE."  And their hip-hop performance is banging hot!  When Scott introduces Wu on stage, he says "It's time to get ratchet,"  and the two turn up for real.
