Jackson Wang Drops New Self-Titled Song

Rapper Jackson Wang has returned with a new release. The GOT7 former JYP Entertainment artist from Hong Kong dropped his new self-titled single with an animated visual on January 11. Before the release, Wang tweeted "Who I am. What I wanna do. Everything about my life here in this song." In the music video, we see an animated visual of Wang, as he walks mostly alone on a sidewalk and sings... "Taking my path step by step, it ain't so bad. When you get to it, it ain't so sad." He then goes on to share his story, as he raps about leaving home at the age of 17, as a fencing champion, in 2011 to start a career in the music industry in South Korea as a KPOP entertainer. He also raps he was homesick after arriving in South Korea, but found a Chinese restaurant, where the owner comforted him.   After the release of the single, Wang posted on Instagram.... "This is me. YUGYEOM Shows Off his Dance Moves after Signing to Jay Park's label AOMG

It's official, GOT7's Kim Yugyeom is the latest artist to sign to Jay Park's first label AOMG. The announcement was made at midnight, KST, on February 19. As the newest member of the hip-hop and R&B label, YUGYEOM joins veteran singers, rappers and producers such as Loco, Gray, Simon Dominic, Hoody and Code Kunst, as well as newer artists Woo Won-jae, Sogumm, Punchnello, DeVita and Lee Hi. Jay Park founded AOMG in 2013. YUGYEOM's move to AOMG follows his departure from JYP Entertainment. He and his fellow GOT7 boy band members, who debuted in 2014, left JYP in January, after their contract with the entertainment company expired. YUGYEOM is now the second artist to leave JYP to work under Jay Park. Singer G.Soul left the company in 2017 to sign with Park's second label H1GHR MUSIC. Has Jay Park come full circle with upcoming AOMG Audition Program "Sign Here" on MBN?

He has shared his story hundreds of times. CEO Jay Park got his start in the music industry after auditioning in Seattle as a teen to join JYP, one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea. According to online sources, after being accepted, Park trained in South Korea as part of a kpop group known as One Day. Part of the group's training was broadcast as a reality survival documentary show on MNET called Hot Blood . After the show, One Day was split into two separate groups-- 2AM and 2PM. Via fan votes, Park became the leader of 2PM. 2PM debuted with the song "10 Out of 10" in 2008. But by 2010, Park was officially out of the group, and back home in Seattle. Fast forward to today, and Jay Park is signed to Roc Nation and has founded his own entertainment companies; hip-hop labels AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC, and he is now currently launching an AOMG audition program called "Sign Here" on MBN. The title track will be on her second mini album 'Faces Of Love'. "HOLIDAY" drops on January 29.
